Luna Llena Villas

Loved the surroundings, was very peaceful and had entire place for our family only. The people or caretakers were very helpful and kind. Whenever we needed help they were always there and they did cleaning on daily basis. We were served with breakfast which had limited options to choose from but were served Balinese sweets daily with different variations. If you like quite place this is worth it. I used viator app services for tours and they willingly came and picked us up from the villa.

The place is very far from the main town so while leaving to another place it was difficult to get Grab cabs and also if you are going to use grab food, delivery charges will be extra apart from app prices.

This is a LARGE villa, that almost feels like living in a mansion. It is situated in a beautiful garden and there is a very nice pool-area just outside the front door. The hosts live in a smaller house within the same garden, and does a great job of providing everything you need. This is a perfect place to retreat after spending a day sightseeing Ubud.

The main street outside the property is busy with traffic, and not very safe to walk. (It is possible to find more quiet streets and back-alleys though, but I would suggest having a driver to take you around)

Great villa and great hosts. The place is very clean and value for money. We were lucky to stay there as the only guests. Big pool to ourselves. Would highly recommend this place. We will stay again. Regards Greg

Sufficient signage to direct driver to the right place. Upon entering the entrance, the garden and pool are just beautiful, pool appears well maintained. The view surrounding the room (#2) is just beautiful, full of greenery. We stayed in the Deluxe Family Room, room is very spacious. Staff very helpful and respond very quickly, provided an insect spray when notified of the bull ants problems inside the room.

Lack of clear signage to direct guests to the reception desk once getting dropped off. Be prepared to battle with a “minimum” of 60 ish bull ants by your room entrance AND inside your room. We stayed in room #2 (Deluxe Family Room), the amount of bull ants I’ve had to battle with is just horrifying, especially when travelling with young toddler. Unfortunately the insect spray doesn’t do much to these bull ants, but made us felt quite sick inside the room after trying to spray all the door space. Shower and bathroom facilities is also outside of the room (i.e. in the garden space - no roof, but enclosed for privacy), several giant cockroaches were spotted crawling on the shower floor and wall. The air inside the room constantly smelled so smoky, like the type of air during a fire burn, made me felt very nauseated and couldn’t sleep properly. Only shower gel, shampoo, coffee sachets, tea bags, bottled water provided, no other basic amenities (i.e. No toothbrushes, shower cap, etc)
