Celeste's House

The apartment was in a good location - about a 15 minute walk or streetcar ride from Santa Maria Novella. It was very spacious, quiet and bright (so much natural light!). A corner unit with a wrap around patio for both floors. Very close to a bank (atm) and a hotel where we could get coffee/breakfast or dinner. There was a non-touristy neighborhood close by where there were some restaurants/aperitivo places. I really appreciated the video the host made showing how to get into the building. When we went to leave (and didn't feel like walking with our luggage), the host had left a qr code which made it so easy to get a taxi (which arrived quickly and the driver was wonderful). The AC worked well (be sure to close the blinds upstairs in the heat of the day, I think that helps too).

I clearly cannot read because I somehow missed the part where it said "split-level". It was ok but I was surprised by the stairs. The showers were a bit small and some family members had issues keeping the upstairs shower from not leaking onto the floor. I didn't have that issue.

The place was light and comfortable with decent-enough sized rooms.

The stairs up to the bedrooms were a bit tricky with big suitcases.

The property had good space, nice furnitures, two full bathrooms, all equipments you could need. Very clean. The location was great. Nice and very friendly communication. The garage is also very well sized and easy to access. They also allowed me for early check in without any extra charge.

The only thing I could image is that since you have to do self-check in, you have to go inside the flat and collect a remote control,before to be able to access the parking place. The street has heavy traffic, so it is not so comfortable to wait in not fully legal place even for just 10 min( I had to move the car twice while waiting to enter). Anyway much better than to have to find a parking nearby.

Huge apartment for 6. Bedrooms are spacious and beds were very very comfortable with crisp white linens. Great to have 2 bathrooms. Location is pretty good, however we did take public transit to endure the heatwave of May 2026.
