Locatie beviel ons heel goed: heel rustig gelegen, prachtig uitzicht, vriendelijke buurvrouw. M.u.v. vaatwasmachine alle faciliteiten aanwezig (oven, wasmachine, droogkast...)
De host had o.a. een flesje wijn, wat vers fruit en aardappelen voorzien. Communicatie met de host verliep heel vlot.
Paar kleine opmerkingen: Hoofdkussens op de bedden waren niet al te comfortabel. In de keuken was geen warm water, dus telkens met waterkoker water moeten opwarmen om af te wassen. Douchestanghouder was stuk, dus je moest de douchekop zelf vasthouden.

Les arbres fruitiers à proximité. La vue sur la mer. le calme de la campagne. le barbecue en terrasse.
L’humidité dans toute la maison. L’état de la literie dans la chambre au rez-de-chaussée. La maison ne dispose que d’un poêle à pellets pour le chauffage, ce qui est inadapté face à l’humidité et au climat local (10 deg la nuit). De plus, les locataires doivent acheter et gérer eux-mêmes les pellets, alors qu’ils ne devraient pas avoir à payer pour leur chauffage.

We didn't have instructions on what to do with the bath towels we used over six days.

If you want a quiet place away from the towns, this is your place. We really enjoyed the excellent view and the calm and quiet atmosphere on the big patio area for 2 weeks. Although this house is towards the top of the mountain it’s very close to a few good restaurants and a poncha bar. The location also makes it convenient to several hikes in the area. The house itself is comfortable with an indoor bbq and all the amenities you would need for a long stay. Unlike many other rentals in Madeira, the hot water tank is much larger allowing for longer showers too. A big thanks to Garry for being available and offering local tips for the island. We can’t wait to visit again!
There’s really nothing not to like.
