Dormy Inn Premium Kanda

Dormy Inn Premium Kanda was a pleasant surprise. I had never been to Japan and didn't know the chain, but the staff were excellent, the room was larger and more comfortable than expected, and the public bath on the top floor was most excellent - it's the feature my wife loved the most. Fully stocked, covered and open-sky pools, cold plunge bath, spa, lots of shower stalls (Japanese style). They even provided lounge clothing to wear around the hotel (no charge), which made the trips to the baths even easier. I'm guessing this was more of what is expected in Japan, but it was our first time. The location was also better than expected, as it was almost across the street from Akihabara (5 minute walk), less than 10 minute walk from two different train lines, and there were a number of reasonable eating places close by. My only gripe was that the full mattress had a noticeable dip in the center, and we had to get used to sleeping against the slope. Despite that, we slept well on it, so I'm very happy with the whole experience.

Onsen

The onsen closed at 10am - 3pm can’t get in The washing machines in the onsen area can’t use washing machine at day time also

location was good - near tubes and quite central.

Having the room serviced a couple of time. The room was cramped for 2 people and the bed was quite small. But it was described accurately in the booking, so it was my bad for not noticing this.
