The location was spectacular, with views that were remarkable. It is on a hill overlooking the sea, and the grounds are set up to maximize the views. And at night you can see stars. Also, because of the location, it is extraordinarily quiet and peaceful. Also, it is a renovated, centuries old Hermitage, so quite charming. It is within walking distance of multiple trails, so is perfect for hikers. To get to Monterroso or other Cinque Terre towns, you’d take a cab.

Situated on top of a hill facing Monterosso al Mare and the Ligurian Sea, this hotel has an amazing view! I enjoyed the view with coffee and a pastry each morning, a special memory from my vacation. Mr. Thusit was welcoming and accommodating — providing all the help and support we needed. The property was very well kept and affordable for the service you receive.
The wireless internet was inconsistent when the hotel was full. It did not bother us as we were looking to minimize distractions, relax, and enjoy the scenery.

It is the most spectacular place I have ever stayed. Truly magical. The position overlooking the sea was superb. So quiet and peaceful. And the building its self was so very special.
