Marion Bay Holiday Villas

The room was very clean, it had lots of fridge space, hot shower, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to eat breakfast.

The kitchen needed microwave dishes as we found it difficult to warm up food we had brought. The exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom. An oven would have been handy, as we brought all our food and it all needed reheating.

Great group of holiday villas. Everything worked fine. Plenty of TV channels to choose from. Everything clean and tidy on arrival. Great value for money and cheaper then the caravan park!

Difficult to keep floor clean with the paths being gravel and grass. Caravan park has a great fish cleaning facility. I don’t think these villas had one.

Overall, it’s a decent place—especially considering the remote wilderness location. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need, the living space is comfortable, and the hot shower was great after a long day out. We also didn’t end up using the outdoor BBQ as it seemed a bit greasy, but it’s still a nice option to have available.

There are a few areas that could really be improved. Basic toiletries like shower gel and shampoo would have been a simple but appreciated addition. More importantly, the cleanliness of the bedding was concerning—the quilt cover and pillowcases didn’t seem freshly washed and had hair on them. There was also a noticeable clump of red hair in the shower enclosure, which wasn’t pleasant to see on arrival. Additionally, the coffee sachets provided were expired by two years, which felt quite careless. Despite these issues, we still had a good time during our stay and enjoyed the overall experience. Hopefully, the property takes this feedback on board to improve for future guests.
