Fantastic location to explore Portovenere and the Cinque Terre

AMAZING location! It is our second time in Portovenere and we were very happy with our choice. At this rate, it would be very difficult to beat the position of this property: it is only two minutes walking distance from the heart of Portovenere, yet in a quiet condo and with an incredible view of the sea and of Palmaria island. The to La Spezia stops right outside the building, the ferries to the Cinque Terre leave from the dock in front of the house and there is also a supermarket right besides the entrance to the building. The apartment is very well designed, we were three people and the space was great for our needs.

The door of the shower doesn't close well so water tends to come out on the wooden floor. AC is only available in the double bedroom and on very hot days during the summer it might be an issue but for us it was perfectly fine.

The location was perfect for travel by boat to and from Cinque Terre villages, and lots of restaurants and shops, with supermarket downstairs

Could not work out how to use the dryer, and unable to work out the different waste bins on the street

Comfortable place, well equipped for short stay by the seaside. Nice to find Nepresso machine and capsules and beach towels. Patricia is very informative and responf promptly. Location is very central, but having said that Porto Vemere is small anyway so central location so this is NOT a huge benefit. Furthermore the apartment is directly over tje bus stop so when the window is open for freah air,, noise will filler travel to the single bedrooms. Something to be aware if you don't like noise. Luckily my teens can sleep through the noise. Also for parking we didn't need to park underground carpark as suggested by owner which was tooooo expensive. We park at the golfo carpark. For all the time (fragmented 4 days) we parked in the outdoor space, it cost us total of equivalent of less than one day in the underground which we heard so much problem with space.

The lighting system in the apartment is too sophisticated and has many ways to turn on/off lighting. No permanent lights in the bedroom and the ones in the single bedrooms didn't work. No action taken to fix/replace when I let the owner know. The cleanliness could be better. There were much dust and lints in the main bathroom. Oh the bathroom has only one lights source that come from the shower head. No light at the vanity. Very strange lighting system.

the only thing I really liked was the view from one single window in the apartment. good location in town but right above the bus station !!!

the dishes are terrible, I had to buy a frying pan and something else. the final bus stop is right under the window. Sorry, the view from the window is not worth that much! I do not recommend to friends and acquaintances.

Exceptional

Helpful and kind hosts, waited and found us in the bus station (we got off the wrong stop.) Absolute gorgeous view enjoying the sea of Portovenere from the living room. You could see sunrise right in front if you wake up early morning. Nice local restaurants in the neighborhood. It was a chill and calm stay for us in La casa dagli occhi blu.

The shower has to use cautiously, or water may leak out.

Poteva essere molto meglio!

Ci siamo fatti ingannare dalle foto anche se l'appartamento è carino ma diciamolo chiaro è assolutamente abbandonato. Pulizia inesistente polvere dappertutto pavimento sporco e macchiato, bagno doccia impraticabile dallo sporco, e soprattutto abbiamo trovato il TV che non funzionava,il frigo rotto con il vano gelo completamente malloppo di ghiaccio,e la pecca più importante è stato aver trovato il condizionatore appena entrati non funzionante,(completamente sporco e pieno di muffa e perdeva acqua a iu non posso con scarico attappato)e qui è iniziata un'avventura che dopo il sollecito che abbiamo fatto alla Martina che ci ha accolto meravigliosamente,(dovete ringraziare questa ragazza) sì è prodigata in tutto e per tutto per risolvere il disagio. L'unica nota positiva è la posizione strategica dell'appartamento e l'affaccio e la sig.ina Martina!!

Non potevo chiedere di meglio per questo weekend

L'appartamento è una posizione STRATOSFERICA. Una vista magnifica sull'isola palmaria che ti dà il buongiorno ogni mattina. Piccolina ma super accogliente, all'ingresso dell'area pedonale/centro storico. Parcheggio disponibile a pagamento proprio sotto l'appartamento. Martina che da subito ci ha seguito ed accolto è stata veramente carinissima. Adatto a coppie e piccole famiglie. Forse non ottimo se si viene con persone anziane perché ci sono le scale per raggiungere la camera da letto. L'appartamento ha tutto il necessario per passare qualche giorno in serenità.

Direi nulla. L'unico appunto forse è che si potrebbero mettere dei dispenser con i saponi invece che le bustine monouso ma solo per essere "perfetti". Il resto top
