We think the apartment itself was great. It had everything you want and we could not wish for more as a group of friends.
One thing for us that was a bit of a “downside” was that they are working on the road directly in front of the entrance of the apartment. Several taxis that drove us around town mentioned that they are working on that specific road for 3 years already. Upon arrival we did not hear a single thing about this operation from the owners of the apartment which we thought was not fair. The sound of the operation is pretty loud and it starts early in the morning. This is not ideal if you want to have a calm morning breakfast at the balcony.

Spacious apartment with excellent air conditioning. The apartment had exclusive use of a lovely pool with an adjacent shaded area. Also there was a built in BBQ and outside table.
The road surface had been dug up in the street so it made it difficult to push a pram. Also it is a steady walk uphill on the way back from the centre of Zadar. This would probably be ok if it wasn't so hot.

Everything was perfect. Plenty of space, clean, nice hosts. We really enjoyed our stay.
