We had a great stay in this property. The house is spacious and very comfortable, especially for two people. The facilities are great, there are even four bikes you can make use of. Communication with the host was easy and they provided clear instructions and a lot of information about the neighbourhood and the rest of Kyoto. There are quite a few sights within walking or cycling distance.
The only small downside I can think of, is that even though there are plenty of bus stops nearby, the nearest metro stop is a bit far to walk (the alternative is to go there by bus or bike). Getting to/from the property with luggage is best done by taxi (not a problem because taxis are easy to take from the station and for the trip back you can always get a taxi within minutes via the Taxi Go app).

I chose this property because I wanted an authentic Japanese experience away from the busy tourist areas of Kyoto. This property delivered in so many ways.
Excellent host who introduced us to wonderful local coffee bars and restaurants and gave us a feel of local life at the initial introduction but then left us to enjoy our own discoveries.

Gegenüber einem Hotelaufenthalt bot dies die Chance, das wahre japanische Leben in einem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus kennenzulernen.
Unser Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, er hat uns sogar beim Betanken des Autos geholfen, indem er mit zur Tankstelle fuhr.
Der Parkplatz liegt nicht direkt am Haus, sondern circa 150 m entfernt. Er ist kostenpflichtig, aber die Kosten sind moderat.

This was the most wonderful stay! Beyond perfect! The host was super nice, supportive and helpful and the place is just wonderful. Everything you wish for is just there. In this appartment every detail a traveller might need was thought of. Just wonderful! Also the bikes which are provided are a nice add on. Highly highly recommend!
