Amazing location, right in front of the train station. I haven't seen many other hostels with a better location than this one. It's also across from a laudromat, ice cream store and CU. To add, theres an E-Mart down the road, and around the corner you can find popular stores like Olive Young, Daiso, and more. The staff are super sweet and the place is kept clean! Theres also a water dispenser in the kitchen, and a common dining area with a free access kitchen. On specific floors, bathrooms are divided between men and women, and the shared ones are fairly large. A few staff members speak english well enough, and signage around the hostel are in both Korean and English. Amazing value for the price as well. Weekdays seem to be cheaper, and I've been able to find availability on short notice as well. The staff even let me check-in early and store my luggage when I was waiting to move them.

Hard to communicate with the owners without a Korean phone number... make sure to be clear when you are checking in just incase a staff member isn't present when you arrive. If you do need to contact them, the phone number posted outside the main door can be contacted through Whatsapp and that's how I got in when I didn't know the access code. Also there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs depending on what room you get! I made sure to request a lower floor when booking the room since my luggage was too heavy. During my last stay, I had no issues in terms of bugs. However, I did get 2 cockroaches in my room during my recent time here. However, I understand that the weather and the amount of rain makes it nearly impossible to keep them out... just something to look out for during your stay (they came through the electrical sockets on the ceiling).

The location is good.

The manager hardly speaks English. Many confusions arose as a result. My guest in Korea wanted to pay the accommodation with his credit card on the very first day, but it turned out to be impossible for the manager who could not manage the payment, contrary to what was indicated on my Booking.com page for this trip. The code of entrance was not given upon my arrival. We had to call the manager from a coffee bar, but no reply (at 10 am local time). Finally who could only get a person who could only speak Korean. Thanks to my wife who learned the very basics of Korean, we could finally get the code for the entrance door and access our rooms. Was it too complicated to send the code by email? When I was writing an email to the manager, I was receiving an answer in Russian (!). But actually that was just as bad in English, making communication very difficult and creating several misunderstandings.
