Comfy stay close to Seminyak

We loved our stay here, we are a family of 7 and there was plenty of space- lawn and pool was a hit. Close to Seminyak square - handy area for finding grabs. Mr Ketut was so helpful- found us coconuts and took time to take hubby to the Pepito and choose the best fruits. Organised whatever we needed. House keepers were lovely and the villa was always so clean. Thank you for having us!

Location was close to all that you need for a great holiday. Very spacious and comfortable. Pool was great, I swam every day. Indra and Wayan from Housekeeping were very thorough, friendly and helpful. Care taker Ketut popped in to ensure we were all comfortable and happily assisted when required. The staff truly made our stay memorable . We will not forget their kindness .

No insulation between ground floor and upstairs. The problem apart from the sound, was dirt that fell from between the floor boards on to beds and in bathroom downstairs.

Disappointing and very much needed of updates

The idea of the villa was nice but the structure of the house is not so good. To get upstairs you have to use stairs. The railing is wobbly and you can hear everything when someone is upstairs. We had 2 nice trips with the driver, Nyoman. Definitely a plus during the stay. Also the cleaning ladies were friendly especially Indra. There was a moment where there was a blackout which was apparently on the entire Island. We had no water because it was a electric water dispenser. It was from 3 in the afternoon till midnight. We had at least expected for the house representative Ketut to stop by to check in on us and maybe at least provide us water and maybe light some candles or something. we were basically left to figure it out ourselves. We managed eventually but with 2 small children and 2 elderly people it was not ideal.

- the downstairs bathroom was a disaster. The toilet was elevated on this wooded floor. It didn’t feel secure and quite frankly did not look at all hygienic. The shower was in a bathtub but the bathtub was closed off with again some time of wooded flooring. at some point we saw a millipede type of creature crawling from underneath the flooring of the bathtub that was closed off. So who knows what else was underneath there. - Also the pool has many chipped tiles that can cut your feet. The first step into the pool is quite deep. Not very suitable for people that are not so flexible. - Every morning we had bits of small round and orange/red fruit scattered on the floor and table from bats. You could actually here at midnight the bat dropping the fruit on the glass table so it would crack so the bat could eat it. Also a lot of bat feces and cats roaming around. - it’s nice for the house to be open but it also allows a lot of mosquitoes to enter and get bitten a lot.

Amazing location and place!

Amazing location and the cleaning ladies were so sweet and amazing and were willing to help as much as possible. For our family of 6 it was great location as it was close to seminyak square, eat street and all the amenities we are used too.

The beds definitely need an upgrade as they were too hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, pool too can do with some maintenance as some tiles were broken and my child did cut it foot on it. However, for the money paid and the amount of nights we stayed it was great. Except for these minors simple fixes, the place was amazing ... maybe TV in the lower floor would be beneficial as well.

Large Villa in Prime Location

The Villa is in a fantastic location and is a short walk to all of the shops and restaurants and doesn't have much traffic noise at all. The Villa is very spacious and has lovely grounds and my 13 year old and 11 year old loved the big pool (note the pool is very deep and the shallow end is also deep). Fantastic kitchen facilities.

Even the the pool was great it needs some maintenance.. some tiles broken on the bottom and kids cut their feet a few times.

The best in Seminyak

Great location central to everything. Villa has everything you need. The staff are amazing did all my washing for me so I could actually be on holiday. Villa was cleaned every day.

Just need a sign on the outside wall for drivers to find us.

Superb

Great place to stay. The house corresponds to the description, with 3 spacious bedrooms all with air conditioning. Great team always available and great friendliness. Impeccable cleanliness. It's about 2 minutes walk to 24h/7 Supermarket, 200m from the busiest area and it's possible to walk to Ku De Ta beach (10 min). If you want to stay at the Villa, the pool is excellent with a good area to rest. Wifi available

Not great issues but: - The pool shower was not operational. - The shower columns already show some wear

We loved our stay here. We were a family of 4 adults and two young children and found it a very comfortable stay with a very convenient location, close to everything. The bedrooms were large and air conditioned and we felt very safe at this property, felt like our own private oasis! very quiet. located right across the road from a good cafe (Cafe Esquina). the swimming pool was a huge hit with everyone - set in a beautiful garden and a decent size, my kids never wanted to get out. we honestly loved staying here so much we were sad to leave and would def stay here again. shout out to the staff, they made this place extra special too!!!

the railing by the stairs seemed a bit unsafe. we were wary of our kids on that staircase. but that was only minor, everything was excellent.

location excellent - easy walk to eat street and markets. handy convenience store 40m away - great restaurant on road opposite entrance. Comfortable bedroom and lovely deep swimming pool. secure building with locks on entry and bedroom doors

no signage or street number on building outside - made it difficult for food and drink deliveries to find Us. tv faulty - unable to fix before our exit. .

uncomfortable, noisy and overpriced for what you get

The upper floor of the property is quite bad, it creaks and you can’t sleep as there is a lot of noise when anyone moves or even talks. washrooms need to be fixed. Pool had frogs. Mattress quality needs to be improved. overall bad experience and definitely not value for money.

A rustic villa in the heart of Seminyak.

Location: is unmatched. 3-5 min walking distance to all popular eateries at the Jln Kayu Aya. In vicinity of Seminyak Square and a short drive to beach. Rooms: 3 BR are well sized and air conditioning is adequate for the area. Swimming pool: not a tiny plunge pool..a reasonable sized pool. Pricing: well priced. Extras: Host were kind to assist with baby cot and baby high chair. Thank you :)

My views reflect since we travelled with family including 8mo infant. If we travelled as group of adults probably below points wouldn't be much of consideration. 1. Ground floor toilet needs some touch up. Shower, flush are leaking/dated. But can be used. 2. Swimming pool filtration system only turns on around 9am. So if you like to take a dip earlier than that then you would have to bear with some overnight frogs/dirt. We informed this to the host and he subsequently moved the timing to 7am. 3. Mattress in upper BR needs an absolute change. I would say that above were not a deal breaker. But if fixed it would make this villa more complete. Will we like to come back again? Absolutely.

Best location, best hosts, amazing place!

Location is absolutely stunning, easy to get to everything! The villa itself has everything you might need. Plus, there's a cat that visits daily :)

The downstairs bathroom smelled mouldy, and needs some updating - ie leaky toilet, bathtub/shower needs to be changed

Villa Raquel is such a well appointed villa, the hosts have thought of everything you may need during your stay. It feels very homely and relaxing in the beautiful surrounds and large comfortable rooms with lovely furnishings. It is very clean and comfortable and the staff are so obliging and helpful. The Villa is in a great location and whilst it is in the heart of Seminyak it is still so peaceful and and the outlook from the villa living area is lovely. The cafe on the corner opposite the villa is so good also- very convenient and beautiful food. Everything you could want is right on your door step here.

Location close to the one of the main road in Seminyak (plenty of eatery). Nice Pool, place are very spacious. House is cleaned everyday (except sunday which is ok, the cleaner also need a day off after all). Close to mini market.

Villa Raquel is very nice & beautifull. There are 3 bedrooms with comfortable & clean bedding. Paolo also the staff are very friendly & fast response. The villa is well equipment & the wifi works perfectly. The location is fantastic, in the heart of Seminyak which near to many cafe, boutique & grocery. i highly recommend it 👍🏻 Thank u so much Paolo & pak Ketut, till we met again 😊

Exceptional

The villa is a hidden gem in Seminyak.The 3 bedrooms are spacious with lots of storage. There were fans in the indoor/outdoor living area and kitchen so you are kept cool whilst hiding from the sun. There is plenty of green space or sunbathing or playing games. It’s also quite the suntrap for late afternoon sunbathing. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. The host also arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport. The location is fantastic, on a quite road but with lots of restaurants and shops on either side of the property. About a 10 minute easy walk to the beach.

The cooked breakfast every morning (not on Sunday) was fantastic. The team at Villa Raquel were lovely and very helpful. They property was clean, with comfortable beds and a wonderful pool that the children loved.

The shower heads require an upgrade due to calcium build up.

Tidak ada plang nama villa nya...jadi pas awal agak sulit untuk mencari...kolam renang terlalu dalam...jadi khawatir meninggalkan anak2...
