DO NOT STAY HERE. Avoid this place at all costs. If you were looking for a peaceful experience and rejuvenating yourself in quiet nature and privacy, you won't get it here. It's impossible to sleep here with how thin the walls are and no soundproofing whatsoever. You can hear the next-door guests having normal conversations as if they were right next to you. If you were thinking of having some romantic time, forget it – there is absolutely no privacy, and the next-door guests will hear you. Not to mention street noise and bar music blast through all night! Noise-cancelling headphones and earplugs don't even make a difference. I got physically ill from the lack of rest. We visited the front desk several times about this issue and after getting no viable solution from them, we had to move to another hotel. When we submitted a complaint, they refused to offer any compensation and responded that our poor experience "couldn't have happened" because they hadn't received similar feedback from other guests. They essentially treated us as liars. Absolutely appalling customer service. The cleanliness of the villa is questionable. The kettle was broken as well. We found a bug in our bed sheets which we understand can happen in Bali, but still not a great experience, and certainly not something we have seen in the other Bali hotels.

The Kumpi villas was truly an amazing stay in Bali. We loved the outdoor pool area, dining and living areas were quite large and comfortable. The pool was clean and big. The rooms upstairs are also quite large and beautiful balconies. Daily cleaning was lovely, as well as the included daily breakfast, cooked fresh for us was WOW. Communication with the hotel was easy, and villa had good acceas to a nearby beach and shops, dining. My only complaints are the following: towels had stains on them, even when we requested new towels, the new towels still had stains, and the one bathroom with a bathtub was very stained and my daughter refused to shower there, the bathroom in the 2nd bedroom had a very stained shower curtain and a clogged drain...that was not pleasant. The bathroom cleanliness is super important during a vacation and their bathroom standards did not meet the cleanliness standards. Otherwise, beware of large bugs in the rooms but the Kumpi villas keep bug spray handy in every room. It is Bali afterall, so its to be expected! Overall, lovely villa and outdoor pool area. We enjoyed our stay!

The 2 bed villa (Villa 1) was very spacious with 2 large bedrooms upstairs and a good sized outdoor area. (The open staircase might not suit everyone.). Breakfast was average but adequate. Great price for a villa of this size / location. Pool gets the early morning sun / shade from mid afternoon. Sadly our pool was green / unusable. The staff did attend to it straight away but it took a couple of days to clear up. The staff were friendly and attentive. I liked the location as it was down a gang off the main strip, so it was quiet but close to everything. It felt safe walking down there day or night. Overall, I would return as long as the pool was fit for use.

The staff at the property are amazing. It's in a great location with plenty to do within walking distance. Could not compliment the staff anymore, they are always available and always there to help with a smile. Great stay at the villa and the pool was the sweetest touch. Loved the week, loved everything about the villa.

Kumpi Villa staff were lovely and very helpful. The villas are in a great location with an easy walk to the main streets where there are many restaurants, shopping and pharmacy. We felt safe and comfortable there. We stayed in a 3bdm villa and there was loads of space for our family. The private pool is a lovely treat to cool off after walking. We had breakfast made for us in the villa and that was a nice treat.

Lovely private villa in a very central area, quiet most of the day especially at night. The staff are on hand to assist, free shuttle to local locations with very friendly drivers. Can’t praise our stay enough. It was so lovely

My stay at Kumpi Villas was wonderful and the staff was amazing! Breakfast everyday was great and the staff was always so nice and welcoming and cleaned the room daily and did “turn down” service to have your bed ready when you returned from being outside from a long day. The villa is very nice and it’s great that they offer shuttle service to drop you into the town, if needed. I would return to stay at Kumpi Villas as it is close to shopping, restaurants and the beach:-) 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an amazing property. We barely left the villa except for excursions. 2 of which we booked drivers with through Kumpi and just paid for the entries at each stop, which saved us SOOO much money on excursions. Even with room service for dinner every night Rooms charges were very accommodating. It is mostly outside so it can get warm in the common areas, but rooms have AC. The highlight was the Staff. They were all sooo amazing.

PLEASE BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! This place is unsanitary, poorly maintained, and clearly not fit for purpose. We found blood stains and foot prints on bedsheets and blankets for both rooms of our two-room villa, didn't use blankets in the end and suffered multiple mosquito bites through the night. There's no hot water, there's no hairdryer even though it's listed on the page, flush was faulty and noisy all night, shower doesn't drain well and it ponds to above your ankle while showering. Save yourself the trouble of having to find another accommodation in the midst of your holiday. Place lacks maintenance and caused us so much stress on our first night that we checked out on day 2 even though we booked for 4 nights and the management doesn't provide any satisfactory recourse for our stress and wasted time. I've been to Bali many times. There are plenty of clean and beautiful villas around. This is not one of them. I sincerely recommend that you spare yourself the hassle and stress, and look for another accommodation. This place is not worth it. Do not waste your time here.

Kumpi Villa is excellent. We stayed for 5 nights, we arranged transport from the airport, got there at 2 am, the front desk was closed but security took us to our Villa no problem, we had fresh fruits and iced tea waiting for us. The next day we had breakfast cooked, the staff were accommodating. Also they came back about 2 hours later and gave my husband a surprise birthday cake. We didn’t book any tour so we asked the front desk if they have tours available, our driver was Agostia, he took us to places we wanted to see and patiently waited for us. I would go back and stay at this place again if given the opportunity.

We had 6 ladies staying for a girls trip away and the kumpi village made the stay fantastic. They helped us with all our requirements. Staff were friendly and security made us feel safe and took us when we needed to go and do a big supermarket shop. We will definitely be back her again. Thankyou thankyou thankyou.

Excellent service from the staff. They are friendly, efficient, and always ready to greet and help us. The road to the hotel is very small. However it is very easy to get ride-hailing car through app. Walking distance to the Seminyak beach and the hotel also provides free shuttle there. There's lots of mini marts and shops around like Seminyak Square. Hotel also provides some novels to read. A good place to relax.

We loved our villa. The pool was wonderful and the outdoor shower was a great addition. The location was great, near restaurants and shopping. The staff were warm, welcoming and really looked after us. We would love to return.

The villa is nice and large, with a big pool and big rooms. The location isn't too bad - only 5 mins walk to the main street. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The big issue with the villa is that it's in dire need of a makeover. It looks tired and worn out; the aircon doesn't work well, and the kitchen looked 20 years old, as did the bathrooms. Even the fridge and the kettle were old and stained. I'd give it 3/5 due to this issue; if everything gets an upgrade, it'll become a 4.5/5 property.

It was huge place. 5 bed room was good for 10 family. We saw some ants and cockroach. Cleaned everyday. Security was good. Quiet place.

The villa are in a great central location just minutes from everything. Front office staff are warm friendly and make you feel so welcome. The butlers though seem to be always stressed and say little and feels as though there smile is forced. Breakfast was okay but we stayed 2 weeks and after a week became bored with it. Pool is huge and you can actually swim in it, though very deep. Im 179cm and it was over my head. The actual villa is huge, with a huge living area downstairs and 2 bedroom upstairs. The furnishings are old and the couch had a cigarette burn. The couch is also so low down i it's actually a struggle getting up again. Bedrooms the room lighting is in my opinion to dark even with all the lights on, you can't read in bed. The beds are way too firm, i would wake up stiff. Bathrooms are just okay. Cleanliness the villa really does need a deep clean. As some things just not cleaned thoroughly but just wiped over. Eg dining table , glass work top in the kitchen Would i stay again ? Probably not

We stayed at the Kumpi Villas for 3 nights. Location was perfect! It sits about a block away from the main strip in Seminyak & maybe 4 blocks from the beach. Everything was walkable during our stay. Once you were inside the villa it felt like a private oasis, far from the commotion. Honestly best of both worlds. The customer service was superb as well- very attentive.

Had a fabulous 2 weeks holiday at The Kumpi Villa, Villa was lovely with a great pool , the staff were very friendly and helpful. Villa only a few minutes walk from the main restaurants and a close walk to the beach. We would highly recommend .Thank you for a perfect holiday
