D&S - Porto Theater Apartment

Location was great.

No washing machine. One outlet in the kitchen. Pillow was poor.

Friendly simple check in, lovely apartment.

More towels would be a good improvement!

The location is great for central / old Porto. Likewise it is a 5 minute walk to Sao Bento rail station if you you want to travel to places outside of Porto.

The apartment description says "entire unit located on ground floor", the apartment is on the second floor and would not suit anyone with mobility problems. The apartment has signs for a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket, neither item was present. There were no instructions on how to evacuate the building in case of fire. The lock on the door off of the street is extremely difficult to use.

1.great location Close to Sao Bento train stations and some landmarks. 2.air conditioning Works well and makes the room comfortable.

1.key collection Keys should be available at the site with lockbox or a person. We happen to need luggage storage, so picking up at its office is OK. 2.street level Didn’t realize the unit is at the street level. We can’t take advantage of the big window. With curtains opened, it feels like in a fish tank or Amsterdam red light district window display. 3.no washing machine The listing is for two units and one with washing machine and one (ours) without. The general description mentions washing machine. Then one of D&S guy showed us the fine print for our unit. Though the space under the water heater may fit one. 4.no garbage can in the kitchen 5.tight space In general rooms are small. The space around the dinning table is tight. Can’t imagine if four bigger persons can move around that area. 6.wifi repair Got a message from the host regarding wifi repairman will come by between 14:30 and 18:30 on our fist day for who knows how long. Told host this seems ridiculous to ask us to be bound by a wifi repair during our short stay. Told the host to provide 5G cellular hotspot or eSIM for wifi and postpone the repair after we checkout. The repairman still came by (maybe shouldn’t have opened the door). This show the host doesn’t care about the customers. 7.The woman (short one sat next to wall) handled our luggage storage is cold/frigid. Doesn’t seem to fit to work in hospitality/service sector. Need to cheer up to give D&S better first impression. The guy accompanied the wifi repairman is cheerful.
