Swayambhu View Guest House

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff were exceptionally kind, polite, and genuinely caring, always making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. Our room offered a stunning view of the Swayambhu Stupa, which made every morning and evening special. The hotel is surrounded by beautifully maintained garden which offers a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is another highlight, offering breathtaking views and a perfect place to unwind. We also appreciated the well-equipped and convenient kitchen, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, this is a beautiful and relaxing place with excellent service, lovely green surroundings, and unforgettable views. We would be happy to stay here again.

The only very minor drawback is some noise at night from barking dogs and occasional pre-dawn religious rituals coming from the Swayambhu Stupa and the surrounding Buddhist temples. I suppose these sounds are part of life everywhere in Kathmandu. Earplugs are highly recommended and make it easy to sleep well. However, this is more than compensated for in the morning, when the rising sun is welcomed by the beautiful songs of Oriental magpie-robins and the crowing of roosters, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere.

Here is a peaceful place near Swyambhunath. Very quiet in a small path and have birds sound around. Everything is so clean here and with lovely staff : )
