Peakman Residence

Ho apprezzato molto la posizione nel quartiere Baluwatar in zona residenziale tranquilla che risulta più o meno equidistante da molte attrazioni turistiche cittadine, alcune delle quali ben raggiungibili anche a piedi in 30/50 minuti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e grande disponibilità del padrone di casa Sunik sia per questioni pratiche/logistiche che per condividere un drink o una cena in amicizia. La mia sistemazione preferita è stata la camera doppia al piano terra con bagno privato con cucina adiacente. Ottima esperienza complessiva -Consigliato!

The host offers a hands-off approach, giving guests space and privacy and not micromanaging or being overly pushy with additional services the way some hotels do. The kitchen and close proximity to a huge supermarket meant that I was in control of my nutrition. Nights were quiet and restful and the place has class. It's basically a mansion.

I would have liked to come home to some light and liveliness and other guests that were interested in visiting.

Clean and well-furnished room within 5 minutes walking distance from a shopping mall. The owner is very responsive too. All in all a nice place for a short or long stay in Kathmandu.

Nothing

The only likeable thing was the locality, it was quiet.

The room was so small in size that it felt claustrophobic, moreover the bed was so small for two people, no storage, no amenities. Even the shared bathroom was lacking maintenance. The entry passage was also from backside and the way we had to sneak in was so unwelcoming. We spent a night anyhow and changed immediately next day. Even after so much discomfort, we were charged as much we would for a good hotel.
