Studio Spiegelhof

I had a wonderful stay at Studio Spiegelhof in Ghent and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city! The studio is beautifully decorated, full of charm, character, and thoughtful details that make it feel like a home away from home. I especially loved the many books, the striking dining table and armchairs, and the lovely reading nook — every corner has its own personality and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The studio was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The bed was beautifully made and extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, tidy, and fully functional. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to make the stay as pleasant and convenient as possible. Another big plus is the location. Situated in a low-emission zone, the studio is in a wonderfully quiet area, yet only about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. It is also very well connected to public transport, including the railway network, making it easy to get around. Last but certainly not least, the host is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She also runs a catering business, which is a lovely bonus, as there is often something delicious to eat right in the house! Studio Spiegelhof is a special place that combines comfort, beautiful design, a peaceful location, and genuine hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a charming and comfortable place to stay in Ghent!

The studio is located in a very nice, quiet area. It is tastefully furnished and decorated in a very warm, mid-century modern style. Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable, and the owner was very polite. I also recommend trying the takeaway food prepared at the shop on the ground floor of the building.

Nothing! Everything was exceptional!

Beautiful decor and fantastic facilities Helpful hosts

Nothing

The property was very clean and presented well. A few specialty touches included chocolates and coffee pods.

It is a shared accommodation with the owner - which is not clear in the advertisement and was not communicated to us prior to arriving, dispute messaging with the owner. Additionally, the advertised washing machine ammenities were not readily available, with request for payment per load of laundry washed. This together, was very disappointing, as we booked this specifically as it was advertised as a) private studio accommodation, and b) that it had washing machine facilities.
