The air conditioning is noisy and can’t be turned off in the room.

Many of the staff for instance Alla, Rena, Moo Haeng and the young guy with pink hair (sorry I don't know his name) are really nice and polite. It just feels like they are not there to work but that WCB is their home, and this feeling trickles down to every little thing in WCB. It's a nice feeling to have. Wcb is like my home.

I always look forward to the events at WCB but somehow they always get cancelled. For instance the 1 coin tour or the board games event on Thursday evenings. I feel like WCB is trying too hard and over promising what they couldn't do, so it's quite disappointing.

I had a really nice stay here. For whoever is in doubt on choosing this hostel because it's not central, my opinion is that Tokyo is too big (and full of interesting neightborhood) for anything to really be central, and the train system is super fast, so an hostel within 5 walking minutes from a train station is all you need. You never have to take any bus to get back here, which is essential given that the last departure is pretty early for buses in Japan. I also loved the food available in the common room, easy to buy and prepare at all hours.

Cleanliness was superb, very easy to use facilities, nice system and everything new.

The only thing is the sliding doors in the shared cabin rooms do not block the bright hall light left on all night! I even used an eye mask but the light leaks in even through the eye mask. It's disappointing for such a nice, new place. I would come here again except for this. All you would need is a simple light-blocking curtain, or cloth available very cheaply online, to hang on the inside of the cabin rooms. Please look into this, or at least dim the hall lights at night.
