The scenic views from the property were fantastic.
The property was lovely and cosy.
There were very noisy people staying in the upstairs apartments. They were constantly stomping around every night until the early hours which disrupted our sleep and if we did manage to sleep the noise woke us up in the early hours of the morning. This is not what you need on holiday as we came to relax in what should have been a peaceful tranquil location!

A superb location with beautiful views in all directions, and set in a pretty garden. The property itself was spacious, clean and had very high we needed for a four day stay.

Hard to imagine a prettier spot to stay than Stoney Acre's. Every morning when I woke and looked out the windows, it took my breath away. In the midst of a 2 week+ trip, it was a great break to have a whole house to ourselves, and especially a laundry, especially since we travel carry-on only. We also appreciated that David the host was so gracious when we showed up unexpectedly early (our Sat Nav always estimated our arrival times quicker than they were, except this once), letting us in even though he might not have been done with all his preparations.
I hate the current trends of duvets-only on beds and partial glass on showers, but that's far and wide these days, not just this property. We were glad to have the second smaller shower with its complete door.
