Great house in a very good location. Plenty of room in the house , heating very good throughout with good sized rooms. Great location in village of Portinscale , cafe directly opposite has a wonderful choice of breakfasts. Pub up the road a minutes walk served good traditional beers and ales also well portioned meals.Stunning views all around and we were there when it snowed and so looked stunning , you can see the mountains from back garden.Ten minutes walk into Keswick. Overall a great place in a great location ideal for a short weekend in our case. Will visit again

Comfortable, a short walk in to Keswick, not far from the hills, parking on the drive for 3 cars. There's also a splendid café just across the road if you didn't fancy cooking. Will definitely book again.
