The service was good, welcoming staff. The location is good, right in the middle of Brisbane within walking distance from major sightseeing. The room was good, with a good, clean bathroom and comfy bed.
We paid extra for breakfast and then had to pay again for a coffee. The buffet was underwhelming, with basic offerings, poor quality pastries, absence of curated meat, cheeses and hash browns.
Also, we visited in June, cold season, and the restaurant area for breakfast was open to the outside through open doors and windows. It was 7am and we had breakfast in probably 14 degrees. Staff were working with jumpers and jackets. No comfortable at all. No concept of what a warm, cosy breakfast in winter is. We left the table as soon as possible. Poor start of our day.

Location was good and bed was comfortable
There was a terrible smell in our room and in our bathroom . We didn’t ask to move as we we’re only there one night but would have needed to move to another room if we had been staying longer

The size
The fact that we were given an accessible room. Such as a room that was designed for individuals either in a wheelchair or who had disabilities. The bathroom was set up with hand railings everywhere making it not a very comfortable, or appealing weekend away for a girls trip. Plus we had no view and it felt very isolated and clinical.
