Good hotel but the lack of reception staff was disappointing.

The standard of accommodation

The closure of reception staff (closed from lunchtime). The email advising us of the early closure arrived too late as we were on a ferry until 3pm. This also meant that we were unable to secure our car in the hotel car park. We feel very disgruntled as we chose this hotel on the basis that there was a reception.

Close to the city centre, good size room, lovely bathroom, all you need for an overnight stay in tours! Good parking facilities, very secure.

Odd deposit fee

Large room.

It is 2,5 km from the Gare. In addition, they charged during my check in a very strange 100 euros deposit for potential damages. After check out I asked them to cancel it, but they never answered to my messages...

The sexiest lifts in town

Room was clean and parking for our car and our bikes was good and secure. The room rate was brilliant value for money and right next to a Carrefour Market so ideal for food shopping if you didn't have a car. As an aside the lifts had the sexiest floor announcer we have come across.

It was nice to be able to buy groceries from nearby Carrefour and cook them myself, as there were dining utensils. Carrefour is adjacent to the building, but not close as you have to turn around. I rented a slightly larger accommodation, and it was nice to have a rooftop where I could go outside, but it was not just a comfortable space because there was an HVAC device (noise fan) on the side of roof.

The parking lot is almost empty, but they don't seem to care about making the parking lot available. You are asked to park around the building, but there is not enough space to park around the building. The distance from the outside of the building to the room, as the building is like an apartment, is quite far. The hotel did not provide beeper that is used to open garage bar when using the parking lot, but the hotel received the full parking fee. The reception doesn't seem to be open early in the morning, so those who want to leave early should talk about it the day before. Breakfast seems to be eaten at the desk and chair in front of the reception, but it would be better to prepare and eat it in the room in advance.

On arrival we found it difficult to find the exact location and entrance to the hotel, however, saw on line that it was next door to an Intermarche Supermarket which helped us locate the building.

The staff of this hotel are exceptional. The reception people are helpful, cheerful and work hard to make everyone’s stay a good experience. The cleaning staff are doing a really good job. The rooms and the common areas are well maintained and kept clean and tidy.

Independent Stay in Tours

Good location for visiting Tours and the surrounding area. Close to the town hotspots but quiet and generally easy to park close by meaning a quick getaway in the morning. The hotel also has a secure car park at a reasonable price. Comfortable beds and adequately equipped mini kitchens so you can make a meal, a snack, take a cold drink from the fridge or make a cup of coffee to relax. The breakfast is reasonably priced, varied and self served. Staff are cheerful, friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed here several times now and will return.

We had to pay 70€ deposit. They assured us paying back the same dag (= yesterday 11-7) but we have not received it yet! Can you manage that it will be paid back to us?!

Too noisy neibours outside the hotel, even with closed windows... nobody at reception from the staff to take care of the noise until 2:30 am... impossible to sleep accentuated by warm room without cooling...
