Starria Hostel foreign guest only

Location was better than I could have imagined! Street was beautiful, and Seoul tower only a stone’s throw away. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Free laundry room was a pleasure to have, considering this was the end of a long trip and was needed. Single room size was tight, but manageable. Would recommend! 😁

Only downside was that my room was facing what-seemed-like a big neon sign outside which was constantly changing colours, which was noticeable through the curtain, felt like a little disco. Might be worth replacing with a blackout. (Luckily I had an eye mask, but prefer not to use it)

Location-wise, it’s perfect — right near Myeongdong Street and close to everything like bus stops, subway stations, and tourist spots.

Nothing — everything was great

Everything was just great! The owner/manager Joon is very friendly and helpful. Ahead of time, she sent a video and directions (via bus 6001) for reaching the hotel and was always ready to answer queries. The hotel is in a great location. Nearby: subway station, market, shops, shopping center, cafes. It was always easy to get to and from the hotel. The kitchen on the B1 level is equipped with everything you need for dining and even cooking. Free laundry and dry cleaning is also a very convenient option. The room was compact, but it served its purpose for rest and sleep. All in all, we were extremely pleased that we chose Starria Hostel. We’d be happy to recommend this hostel to our friends and would definitely stay here again if we return to South Korea.

Honestly, I don't know what to add. It was a great experience, especially for this price.

The plastic under the beddings, it’s uncomfortable. No shower space, toilet gets wet when you shower.
