We really wanted to stay at Esperides Beach Hotel Apartments, and even booked two different rooms during our holiday just to make it happen - and it was absolutely worth it. Although our flight arrived after 9 PM, the owner kindly greeted us late in the evening, which made us feel instantly welcome.
The first apartment we stayed in was newly renovated and modern, while the two-bedroom apartment we moved to later wasn’t updated yet, but it was still comfortable and perfectly fine. The setup is great for families or anyone who enjoys cooking, thanks to the practical kitchenette and spacious layout.
A highlight of our stay was the beach bar - not only a great spot to relax during the day, but also where a lovely breakfast is served every morning with direct views of the sea. The pool is calm and inviting, the beach is just steps away, and with tavernas and shops close by, the location couldn’t be better.
Esperides combines warm, family-run hospitality with a fantastic seaside setting, making it ideal for both families and couples looking for a relaxed holiday.

The location is stunning, friendliness of all staff, the food and drink at the hotels little restaurant between beach and pool really nice. The room had absolutely everything. Good working air con, little kitchenette with equipment. Great drench shower, Fridge , safe box, tv, balcony. Only 16 rooms, therefore always plenty of sunbeds available on the beach. Got a little gift on departure, nice touch.
Buses to Chania was always packed, could do with extra buses at peak times
