Well maintained hotel with really nice pool area and facilities, on the edge of Agia Marina it's easily walkable to bars, restaurants and nice sections of beach

We spent 4 days at Cretan Dream Royal and could have happily stayed longer. We used the taxi transfer service arranged by the hotel which was waiting for us and took approx. 30 minutes. We arrived early, was able to change and use the pool and facilities until the room was ready.
Breakfast was very good, lots of choice that slightly changed each day, almond milk readily available. Fluffy pancakes alternate days.
We were B&B but booked for the Cretan/Greek BBQ and dancing which was very enjoyable, again the food was good with fish choices as well as meat, the BBQ chicken was very good. and well priced.
Location is good. about 15-20 mins by bus to Chania but as others have said the bus is often full as it is the last stop in a long stretch of beach resorts. The beach opposite is natural but a few minutes left and the beach improves. 15-20 minutes and into Agia Marina beach is is nicer. Fantastic pool area, never had a problem getting sun beds thanks to the no reserve rule & great cocktails in the pool bar. It was lovely & quiet, an older clientele in early Oct. We would happily return again.
