Breakfast somewhat disappointing compared to other places in Marrakech

A nice and quiet Riad away from the madness that Marrakesh can be . The room was nice with an Ok bed and bathroom. Some of the staff were friendly.

In a month of travelling Morocco this was the poorest breakfasts I had. Not even an egg or a fruit. Mostly old bread and jam. The coffee was very good though. Also, every time you come and go from the riad you have to have someone open the door for you; I found that extremely annoying.

I was given such a warm welcome - Its beautiful, and I felt instantly relaxed after a long day of travel. The staff were excellent and attentive.

Beds were a little hard for me but that’s just my preference

Location is very good. The two ladies working there were very polite and helpful in contrary to their colleague - a yang lazy, irresponsible and arrogant man who spoiled the good impression.

The aforementioned employee who lies to the guests that 1) he is the owner, 2) the breakfast does not start at 7am as his colleague announced, claiming "she doesn't know English". This excuse was made up and communicated only on the second morning, after he did not show up at 7am for two consecutive days and despite the fact that the second breakfast at 7am was confirmed by him the night before?! An argument ensued on the morning in question, as on top of that we woke up locked in the riad, unable to leave even without breakfast, while the gentleman was sleeping in a free guest room. On top of that, the next day when we complained, he arrogantly came to me to ask what our problem was with him. Yes, we had a problem following our reservations for 2 consecutive days, but the riad certainly has a bigger problem with this employee. He also skip to let us know we should give explicite permition for cleaning durring our absance (strange rule) and also skip lettingv the ladies know that we have even requested him cleaning after the first second day ommission. The yang lady was waiting us till 6 p.m. to get approval.
