Beautiful setting with expansive views of the river and forest. Very comfortable bed. Excellent free wifi. Pleasant forest walk. Friendly helpful staff.

Grand old mansion with great historical ties. Clean and welcoming environment, Marvellous views over the river and special bird watching.

Amazing views and a beautiful house
Showing more care and being more hospitable. I found that whilst absolutely beautiful, the house felt “off limits” and use of the pool facilities were also limited (i.e. heavy lounge cushions were not put out or taken in every day - if you wanted to use them, you’d have to get it yourself). Communication was very limited - save for being informed of the breakfast times, there was no communication regarding the breakfast itself, property, etc. Finally, whilst adequate, the breakfast was often cold or strange (e.g. one small button mushroom provided which could honestly have been left out as it appeared to be restrictive / meagre).
