Dog barking 24/7 at another hotel very close to this property but it did not keep me awake and it is certainly not the fault of the host. It was annoying and I felt sorry for the obviously neglected dog.

Nice restful stay near everything

Simple, spacious, light and airy, impeccably clean, and near everything you could want. Well equipped kitchenette. Room darkening shutters for those who like to sleep in like us. Beds are new and very comfortable, especially for someone like me with spine issues. Daily cleaning. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Really lovely people. Quiet location for such a lively town. One block from the beach. Parking is nearby along the beach, a block away. You can drive directly here (use Google Maps) and drop off your bags before parking. Grocery stores, ATM,, bakery, fantastic breakfast restaurant less than 5 minutes walk away. We will definitely be back.

The property was in an excellent location just one street back from the main beach with supermarket and town centre a short stroll away. The building and room were extremely clean and well maintained and if returning would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay and beautiful surroundings!

Arriving in Paleochora, Vasilis was there to hand us the keys with a big smile. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and with the fly screens on the windows we always had a wonderful breeze through the apartment. Great location too. Highly recommend!

Great experience

Vasilis and Lisa are great hosts, they were very helpful with all our needs. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It’s balcony doors had mosquito nets. It’s very close to a sandy beach, but also other beaches and markets, restaurants... We will definitely stay here again if we visit Paleochora.

Quality family run apts

Very kind generous and friendly welcome. All you need to stay safe ne cook at home for a few days. Some oil and coffee/sugar etc left for guests as well as soap and shampoo. Small attentions that make a difference. Set in a quiet street one back from the seafront (2mins away), definitely a quality find. Thanks for your warm welcome!

The hotel was brilliant, Palaiochora was so interesting with so many places in easy walking distance

Everything about the place. The owner was friendly and welcoming, couldn't have been more helpful. Location was brilliant for the beach and the local shops and tavernas. The room and everything in it was spotlessly clean. It was a large room with a well-equipped kitchen area and a separate bathroom with a shower (hot water at all times). The price was really cheap (November) so we decided to extend our stay as it was a perfect little holiday.

Good location, value for money

The studio was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Good location, quiet and just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The studio has everything you need for simple meals, WiFi and are cleaned daily. The owner is welcoming and always checking you have everything you need. Paleochora is a place for relaxation, good access to walking, daily ferries to Sougia, Loutro, Sfakia and Gavdos. In the evening, the place has a special feel as the main area becomes traffic free and there are many tavernas, to enjoy the cretan hospitality.

It's one of the best and most comfortable places we've stayed so far! The host is so nice and one can see and feel that he has built and manages the whole building with a lot of love and care! There are many small things that highlights how well-thought everything is. Location is also great - just 1minute away from the beautiful long sandy beach with amaizing waves! Highly recommend this place, it's a hidden jem of the pretty touristic city!

You will want to stay longer!

The location was excellent! It was just a few minutes to the beach, store, and restaurants. The owner is welcoming and helpful. The room had a lot of space, with options for cooking. The balcony was very nice- being able to sit and listen to the waves. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

The small window on the door let in a lot of light (I used a pareo to cover it and that worked well.)

Perfekt um mal abzuschalten!

Alles in allem war es super! Zwar 2 Einzelbetten, aber sie sind nicht auseinander gerutscht. Alles war sauber. Die Putzfrauen kamen auch fast jeden Tag vorbei. Der Raum war auch groß und sehr geräumig eingerichtet. Super gute und viele Verstau Möglichkeiten! Die Lage war auch mega. In 2-3 min am Strand und auch super schnell in der kleinen Innenstadt.

Der Herd hat lange gebraucht um warm zu werden, aber ich würde trotzdem auf jeden Fall nochmal herkommen. Bei der Dusche gab es auch nur so einen Vorhang, das ist aber auch Geschmacksache. Es hat jetzt nicht wirklich gestört.

Da Kochyli è come stare a casa propria!

La struttura posta in punto strategico rispetto alla spiaggia e alla zona di passeggio è perfettamente adatto ad un soggiorno rilassante. Dotato di un angolo cottura, frigorifero e balcone esterno garantisce anche una certa eventuale autonomia circa l’esigenza di avere acqua fresca o cibi a portata di mano. Inoltre il supermarket è nelle immediate vicinanze e raggiungibile a piedi. Condizionatori e zanzariere presenti nell’alloggio. Il pezzo forte? Il proprietario di cui ci siamo innamorati! Disponibile, sorridente, gentile oltre ogni aspettativa! In una parola: meraviglioso!

Al centro di Paleochora e a due passi dal mare

Camera molto ampia con comodo balcone e, soprattutto, vicinissima ad entrambe le spiagge di Paleochora, soprattutto Pachia Ammos, la più bella e a taverne e bar. Spazi comuni molto ben tenuti e camera e bagno semplici ma molto funzionali

Letti singoli, piuttosto stretti anzichè un letto alla francese. Per me, che ero da solo, sarebbe stato più comodo

Hôtel très agréable

Bon accueil et très réactifs pour répondre à nos demandes. Ménage fait tous les jours. Logement propre et joliment décoré. Très proche de la plage de sable. A proximité il y a un supermarché bien achalandé, le centre ville et beaucoup de restaurants en ville et en bord de mer, des 2 côtés (rochers et sable). C'est la 3e fois que nous venons et toujours avec plaisir.

Peut-être penser à rajeunir le dessus de lit et les rideaux. Mais ce n'est vraiment pas très important.

Es war sehr sauber, ruhig und heimelig. Die Wirtsleute waren sehr freundlich und sehr höflich. Die Lage war ideal. Zum Strand und zum Zentrum waren es nur wenige Minuten.

Das Bett war etwas schmal. Ich denke nur 140 cm. Für uns beide ungewöhnlich eng.

We komen hier terug.

Het appartement is eenvoudig maar er was alles wat we nodig hadden. Het bed was heel goed. De eigenaars zijn supervriendelijk. Je hebt geen zeezicht, het ligt een beetje achterin, maar je bent wel in 5 minuten op het strand.
