De keuken is een beetje chaotisch. Je moet ieder kastje open trekken om te vinden wat je zoekt. Maar de keuken heeft wel alles, je komt niks te kort. Er zijn pannen genoeg, er is zout, suiker en afwas middel.

Liked the host we met her on arrival briefly . Very quiet surroundings. Good ski bus pick up route .Great location for Almhofen Ski lift. Not to far to walk for the local bus 4104..into Mayrahofen for dinner. Hired ski stuff from Insider at the bottom of the lift..Julian spoke English and was very helpful, each day. The skiing in Zillertal 3000 area was fantastic, lots of runs for all, Blue's were good, Reds could be split into two groups ,easy reds not long , really icy hard reds that went on forever (lol),lots of places to eat and drink. Good lift layouts...to get places.From the airport to the accommodation it took just around two hours, was pretty easy and cost €39 each round trip which i think is amazing. The Transfer cost for a taxi was £322 round trip for two, big difference, we only had bags no ski's.

I didn't like that the local supermarket was shut until the summer.( our host kindly provided a large breakfast for two for our first morning) I found it was confusing that our host gave us a local pass card for the ski bus pick up which was brilliant , but later in the week after paying to and from Mayrahofen, we found this pass could also be used for 4104 local buss, as does your ski pass in ski hours. Taxies from Mayrahofen were between €25 and €40. Last local bus was 19.52pm .The free Greenliner bus took us from HinterTux down to Mayrahofen station, then another bus took you one stop to the Gondola..which was a bit confusing.When you don't know what's going on. As my Husband and I opted for public transport from the airport, it would of been nice to get a lift from the bus stop to the Apartment, as dragging a suitcase uphill in the snow,was very hard! However now I've met the host. I would ask in future.

Super schöne Wohnung, gut ausgestattet, ruhige Lage auch um an den Hintertuxer Gletscher zu kommen. Parkmöglichkeit direkt vorm Haus. Es gibt einen Vorraum um die Skiausrüstung zu lagern, zusätzlich eine Garderobe. Küche wäre für meine Begriffe etwas klein um groß zu kochen, wir haben sie nur zum Vesper richten genutzt. Großes Plus ist die separate Toilette. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es eine ausklappbare Couch mit Bettkasten, für Erwachsene eher ungeeignet, aber für Kinder ideal. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, großes Dankeschön an Familie Geissler!

The host was very warm and met us on arrival and also gave us the TUX Finkenberg pass/ticket to use it public transport to go the glacier and near by towns. The property had lot of brouchures, the host also printed the bus timings which was great help to us. The property great Mountain View’s surrounded , it looked even better when snowing. The kitchen was very well arranged and comfortable beds. There is a one good pub nearby to enjoy the evening and grocery store which opens 06.30 am to 6.30 pm which was great. The Finkenberg Alm Bahnen is also local pub and grocery store and shuttle/bus stop at walking distance.
