Great room with even greater hostess and breakfast

A clean and cosy room in a rebuilded barn as location. Hostess was very welcoming, she gave us a short bit clear guide around the room and common area. Breakfast buffet was really good with fresh bread and produce.

Cousy stay in the Dutch countryside

Very quiet location with lots of nature around. The staff is incredible friendly. Don't miss the fireplace when you travel in wintertime. All in all a comfortable stay in a typical Dutch B&B.

Spacious and clean room, good value. Good restaurant a short walk away. We had the two floors of the apartment to ourselves. Well located for cycling routes.

Small room but comfortable and with everything we needed for 1 night. Very tasty breakfast with a varied selection. Private parking in front of the hotel, off the road. The host owns a very good restaurant for dinner nearby.

To reach bathroom in the triple room , one needs to climb one level up. Not comfortable in the middle of the night

Host was outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel was lovely set in beautiful natural beauty.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable.

My only observation was that in room 5 the bathroom facilities were up a steep staircase which wouldn’t be suitable for an older person. I managed fine but I’d prefer to have a bathroom on the same level.

Excellent place to relax from a bike tour or as a starting point.

Very cosy rooms, extremely nice and helpful owner. You could sit inside the "living room" and enjoy drinks from the fridge alone or with other guests. Very good breakfast.

Perfect value for money. Comfy and nice!

A very nice place near the border with Belgium, province of Limburg. If you are looking for a comfortable stay at a very reasonable price - you cannot get anything better. It is quiet, set up in a beautiful location, breakfast in fairly good and you the room is fairly spacious and very clean.

There is only one way to the property (as there are road works along the way) - so the GPS might trick you and you might end up in a dead end. A little warning mail that there is only one way to choose would have helped.

The tone of the host when we enquired about a possibly later accommodation (at 23h) was beyond the acceptable line. This gave a bad taste of the stay.

Nice B&B in an country house, with a beatiful view across the fields. Kind owners happy to explain you everything. Execelllent hommeade breakfast made to order. opariking in the yard or across the road. Would definetly stay here again if I have to return.

Exceptional

A warm and informal welcome was perfect at this fabulous location. The common space is gorgeous and comfortable and the bedrooms were delightful. Breakfast was generous and as cyclists we were encouraged to pack a lunch with the leftovers. There is a fab coffee and ice-cream parlour a short walk away and a really excellent bistro within walking distance.

Great location, great breakfast.

Great location, great breakfast. Very nice courtyard where you can have breakfast and spend a few hours in the evening reading a book. The availability of drinks in the lounge is also very good. Service of the owners very good, very friendly and helpful. Great place for cycling around the Maas river, Thorn and other beautiful places.

The rooms are a bit too basic and TV very small. When the owner were home, it was not clear if we could call them to ask something. Maybe they should provide a phone number for urgent requests, or a bell for guests on their door.

Disappointing check out spoilt our stay

Great location. Beautiful property and layout with large communal areas and external seating.

The proprietor telling us there had been a price increase and asking us to pay more than the price quoted on Booking.com . When we questioned the increase his attitude changed and as we were sitting in our car about to leave, he came over to us and became quite nasty, asking us to either go or turn off our engine, as the exhaust fumes were effecting the other guests. I doubt that was the case. Also, we subsequently became aware that we did not get the Genius upgraded triple room we were entitled to. For persons with impaired mobility, it should be noted that the bahroom was accessed by a rickety spiral staircase.
