An amazing place to stay, relax, play and rest.

The team there were each wonderful. Offering to help in numerous ways. Chef Rob directly helped us to get a table on a night when his restaurant at the resort was fully booked. The room overlooking the beach was beautiful. It was thoughtfully furnished and very comfortable. The bed was great: very nice mattress and linens; we both had our best sleeps in Belize. My fiancee has a bad back and the bed was soft and supportive - great for her. The location is great; the breakfast in the morning was delicious; the pool is on the other side of the hotel from the beach so it is perfect for catching late afternoon sun. We could not have enjoyed our time at Parrot Cove Lodge more!

The two paddle boards were weathered and were not usable for us. They had good kayaks so this was not a big deal at all. Honestly, it is the only thing I can mention and it is MINOR!!!

Feel good kind of place

Service and breakfast were wonderful. Rooms were a nice size. Felt very at home here. This is my favorite place in the area. I would stay here again.

Just the prices are so expensive for meals. Wasn't expecting Belize to be so expensive and can't really figure out why it is. You pay the same prices as you would in a lot of places in the US, but many times it not quite up to par.

it was very comfortable and the staff was amazing. We especially enjoyed The dining room staff especially Tisha with her welcoming smile and positive attitude

There is absolutely no information about what to do in the area or recommendations to guests at the front desk. lWe were interested in a snorkel trip and I would have appreciated a recommendation for a company. Not all tour operators are equal. but were told to ck the internet.

A moment in paradise with full service hospitality.

It was truly a delight. Beachfront, soundproof rooms, if you can believe that! Almost total privacy was DELIGHTFUL! The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Food is pretty good, breakfast was top notch! The town is Hopkins is precious and God willing, I will return soon and stay longer.

Great stay, modern and clean facilities, great views and super comfy beds

The room was large with an ocean view, it was modern with working A/C, fridge and super comfortable mattresses and pillows! The communal areas were always very clean, staff were super friendly and the food was lovely.

The deck chairs around the pool and on the beach front were not very comfortable. And the “milk” that’s put out at breakfast for tea and coffee is more like cream and quite unpleasant. The UHT milk provided when requested would be a much better alternative as the standard milk :-)

The staff was great. Breakfasts were good, and the location was good too..

The pool is open 24/7. This is not a good idea. Most pools anywhere say the pool closes at 10 PM. One night in our stay there was a rea noisy large group of people making a lot of noise well into the night. I heard other guests chastising them, but there was no on-site person to make them leave.

Pleasant

Nice location in Hopkins. Right on the beach and a couple minutes drive to nice restaurants. Staff was also very nice. We have a big room with a beautiful sea view and balcony.

It seemed that this hotel wanted to be an upscale hotel. They had an expensive (apparently good) restaurant and the prices were high for the room. But the way it was run was not worth the money. First, they are under construction and we were not informed before reserving. They are adding a third floor and us being on the second floor... Heard hammering and construction work in the afternoon, so impossible to put our kids for a nap. Also it wasn't clean. Used q tips on the ground around the construction site... Super unpleasant considering the price we paid. And lastly, what kind of hotel with a restaurant doesn't have an open beach bar?!? We managed to get drinks when the employees arrived to set up for dinner only... Very disappointed and not worth the money.

One of our Belize highlights

Just wow… our ground level oceanfront room was literally steps away from the water. Clean, comfortable beds, newly renovated room. And the restaurant is world class. Chef Rob does an amazing four course meal at a reasonable price. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bikes are available to ride to the north end of town. There are drinking water fountains for filling water bottles. Very close to the double decker Big Dock Ceviche Bar for the best ceviche. Hopkins is a great, very safe little village without all the new construction of other towns. We loved our stay and would highly recommend 🥰

charming hotel, wonderful restaurant, superb customer experience

We stayed for three nights in one of the standard pool facing rooms. We found the hotel to be absolutely charming. The quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent (we ate there twice) and good value. But it’s the people that really sets this place apart. Everyone from the owners down epitomise excellence customer service and elevated our experience massively. The hotel is also very well situated on and attractive part of the beach, within a few moments walk of several other bars and restaurants. There was a some construction work going on while we were there but everyone was so considerate it really didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommend.

Nothing. worth noting though that some of restaurants in the Hopkins Hotel Zone require a reservation a day in advance which caught us out on our arrival day.

An excellent place to stay and experience Belize.

The breakfasts were exceptional. The young lady who was the cook and waitress knew my dietary restrictions and would provide me with great options every morning. There was plenty of food and it was all wonderfully prepared. The room was VERY spacious with a great view of the ocean. The owner is making many improvements to the building and facilities. So, there was construction going on while we were there. While this might have been a negative it really wasn't. They kept the noise to a reasonable level and clear paths to walk. I'd love to return and see everything when it is complete!

Considering that we were in essentially a tropical jungle it's not surprising that insects are in abundance and relentless. As such we had little, tiny ants on and off again in our bathroom. Not a big deal though. There weren't enough to be concerning and since they were so small so as to be almost invisible, we only really saw them when they were on something bright white.

The staff was absolutely amazing. So friendly and welcoming. Marissa went above and beyond for us. Rocco the hotel bird was super fun and loved waking up to him whistling. Chef Rob has a masterpiece with his restaurant!

Excellent place to stay for a relaxing vacation!

Excellent place to stay, right on the beach. Hot water for showers, nice pool open 24/7, delicious complimentary breakfast, small fridge in our room, A/C, kayak use included with booking, friendly staff. The water was warm (we went in May) and fairly clear. We really enjoyed our time at Parrot Cove Lodge and would recommend the place.

We got there a little later than planned and had to wait for someone to arrive at the office, but staff were very helpful. Breakfast was served at our table and took a little while due to others being there ahead of us, but it was fresh, hot, and delicious.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at ! The front desk staff was very professional, very accommodating ! All of the hotel staff was so friendly especially the restaurant staff. The gourmet dining was bomb !! I had a Ribeye steak with seasoned potatoes & peppers. 2 desserts & the drinks from the bar were amazing. The free breakfast was so fresh . We had made to order pancakes, eggs, sausage & fresh cut fruits & they even asked us if we wanted seconds!! The pool was 24 hours , no mosquitoes in my room. I will definitely be back during my next trip in November. Thank yall for everything! Til next time.

Lovely beachfront lodge to enjoy Hopkins

Wonderful, kind staff. Room was great—clean with nice amenities. Hot water wasn’t working in my room, so they upgraded me for free to an Ocean Front suite. Great spot on the beach—lounge chairs and hammocks to relax under palm trees. A great restaurant on site with a few good restaurants in walking distance—or can borrow a free bike into the village (~15 min). Pool was a clean and a great temperature. Enjoyed everything about my stay!
