the room was so spacious and clean. the people are very warm and helpful. the location is also good because we only need to walk a few meters to the ski gebiet. our stay was very comfortable because of the place and also the people. i recommend this Pension. the food was also good.

Pleasant and overall good, but with some problem areas.

The stay was overall pleasant, the absolute highlight was the staff: All very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. I liked that we were close to the mountains and therefore had fresh air and none of the stress from Oberstdorf. Also, the dinner was fantastic. There are hiking and cycling routes nearby and you can see the paragliders from your window. You can also hear some cows in the far background, which gave a really authentic flair.

The breakfast was alright. In the recommendations, it received a 9.2/10. I could not see that at all. It was yummy, no question about it, but I was expecting a bigger buffet to chose from and especially to get some local food as well. What is a breakfast in Allgäu without proper cheese in the morning? We were asked to bring a COVID-test, which is more than alright, but in the evening, many locals gathered to drink and sing without any masks or distance, therefore contradicting the COVID-rules. Also, in the evening it was really loud as our bedroom was fairly close to the bar area. We had problems sleeping. Lastly, there was a lot of road work, so it took ages to reach the pension, that's something which could've been shared in advance.

QUIET. PEACEFUL. QUAINT mountain guesthouse! This beautiful guesthouse is right in the middle of mountains! Long walks up the mountain or just along the meadows are exhilarating! We booked our room for 2 adults and at the last minute our teenage daughter was able to come along with us. It was no problem, and the extra space for her was a real bed and not a couch or cot! She loved her corner in the room. Breakfast was wonderful and everything was brought to your table. The room is comfortable with plenty of space for the three of us and our own private bathroom. The parking is free right outside the door. It was only a quick 10 min drive to Oberstdorf Ice training hall. RECOMMENDED STAY!

They do not have a hot kettle in the room for tea, but the staff is very accommodating and will give you a hot cup of water for your tea, so its really no problem! We will book our next stay here if it is available!

Ideale Unterkunft für Wanderfreunde.

Gross und geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet. Gaststätte mit guter Küche im Haus. Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, auch wenn der Bus jetzt nicht so oft fährt. Viele wunderschöne Wandertouren direkt von der Tür weg.

Offener Kleiderschrank mit nicht soo viel Stauraum. Sofa unter dem schrägen Dach birgt die Gefahr von Kopfschmerzen.
