Kasbah El Hajja is a truly unique, historic, and authentic Moroccan riad, set right within the old village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site at Ait Ben Haddou. The breathtaking views, especially at sunset and sunrise, make it a remarkable place to relax and unwind, and knowing it’s a frequent movie-filming location adds to its special character. The traditional homemade tajine and banquet we were served for dinner was seriously delicious and a definite 'must do' option when staying at Kasbah El Hajja. The building interior was meticulously and authentically restored by the owners with each ornament, decoration and furnishing adding to the rare chance to experience Morocco’s rich heritage up close. Its character, atmosphere, and sense of history make every moment memorable. Every corner has a hidden gem. But what made our stay unforgettable was the warm, attentive and exceptionally remarkable owners, who went above and beyond to make sure our visit was memorable and an experience that would last my family and I a lifetime. I am very happy to recommend staying at the beautiful Kasbah El Hajja, especially to anyone seeking a genuine and authentic Moroccan experience. Our only disappointment was having to leave!
