Everything was as described and as in photos. Quick hot water. Comfortable hard mattress&pillow. Quiet at night. Excellent location of the Kasbah in the heart of the Ksar. Delicious Moroccan breakfast&dinner. Hospitable staff. We had a very pleasant chat with the owner about local culture and he provided a lot of useful information. Thank you Aziz et al. for the uniquely authentic experience in a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.

We loved staying right in the centre of this stunning UNESCO protected Ksar. The building is beautiful with gorgeous decoration. Aziz looked after us beautifully and very kindly organised an early breakfast for us as we had to leave early to reach the airport. The coffee was the best we had in Morocco and they had prepared delicious fresh breads and eggs even though it was early. He also advised us on when and where we needed to be to enjoy the best views of the sunset and sunrise. Our room was very nice, there is no A/C but even though it was hot outside during the day it was comfortable at night with the window open. The terrace is large and pretty and we had a nice dinner there. You do have to park off the main road on the other side of the river and carry your bags - it is very rough path so not good for suitcases with wheels. But we had been advised when we booked to only bring what we needed because of that. We loved our stay there and would definitely recomend.
We were advised that parking was a distance away and we needed to carry bags and it is probably a 20 minute walk from parking. We hadn’t received directions to find the road but it is very easy. Walk across the bridge, turn right and keep walking straight!

Its location is amazing. A must stay to avoid crowds and get the true feel of the ancient village. The host and his sister go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay and the food is remarkably tasty. The best we have eaten in our 3 weeks traveling around the country.
