Sunshine Towers Boutique Apartments

Location, space and price.

The apartment is a bit tired and the kitchenware (utensils, glasses and placemats) could do with an upgrade.

Location was excellent. Bowls Club over the road with excellent food and on certain nights entertainment. Penny's Seafood around the corner - awesome array of seafood, eat in or takeaway, staff and food excellent would highly recommend it for seafood - yummy oysters! Little strip shopping centre across the road with everything you need when holidaying. Our unit was clean and except for the spare room beds the main bedroom bed and couches were comfortable. 2 great balconies to enjoy on different sides of the unit, shame no view! TV in main bedroom as well as living room. Had a few issues with apartment, nothing major, but management liaised constantly and fixed what they could on the spot and said they'd attend to the rest once we left. Didn't use pool but was heated. Walking distance to beach which is what I wanted.

Photos on booking.com showed sea view - was extremely disappointed when we arrived to find out we were on the first floor with NO VIEW! I had wouldn't have booked the apartment if I knew there was no sea view. 2 single beds in spare room were extremely uncomfortable as mattresses so old they need replacing. Separate bathroom had a corner bath that had very high sides - came up to my thighs, so quite dangerous to get in and out of. Unit had new carpet and paint but still needed some attention to kitchen cutlery and a few things which the management attended to immediately and replaced with new items. No airconditioning in bedrooms only fans so if you were staying over spring/summer it could be very hot in those rooms. Management were very accommodating in trying to fix any issues we had. In saying all that, if I was happy not to have a sea view I would stay there again, especially for the location.
