Lovely big house with plenty of room.
Comfortable beds.
Braai facilities and access to wood (R40 a bag).
The house is in a secure "estate", easy access if you read your info ahead of time.
There was a loud house party at the neighbours, kept us up until the early hours.
The kitchen utensils are missing some essentials, like a sharp knife.
Instructions for using the stove would have been useful.

Happy Jackal was very convenient for visiting Addo Elephant Park. The location was very quiet and was near the river.
The pool looked beautiful although we didn't actually use it. But we did use the barbecue facilities which were very good.
The room was comfortable and breakfast was available to booked if needed.
The approach looks a bit industrial but don't let this put you off.

Great property in a beautiful location. Ideal for visiting Addo elephant park.
Suzette is a lovely host who makes sure you enjoy your stay there.
I would recommend booking a safari trip with Tim as his knowledge of the park and animals makes the trip very enjoyable

Very close to the south entrance of Addo. Felt safe and comfortable. Nice braai area by the pool. Good breakfast.
Booked activities weeks in advance via WhatsApp chat with the owner, found they were cancelled or not booked because of some stories about having to fire the office manager etc. Made some accommodations as the last minute but quite unprofessional. Very embarrassing while bringing a group from overseas. Cottage we booked said 3 bedroom but it’s actually 2 bedroom with beds in a living room upstairs. Quite awkward for a mixed group of singles and couples.
