It’s a extremely exquisite place well renovated with the charm of a small castle! Breakfast was great and chic bathrooms modernized and you miss nothing! Alot of small attention ! Romantic moments for sure !

Super cool, antique and very well kept. You feel like you are inside someone’s home with all the furniture , clocks and photos. Warm staff. Great facilities at the roof top terrace. You’re in the centre so can walk anywhere and the food was amazing!

It is pricey. The room had a strong “old smell” but you get used to it.

I chose Villa Spalletti Trivelli for my initial days in Italy as a calm retreat where I could be cosy and comfortable while dealing with jetlag caused by a 9-hour time difference, and it was very good for this. The Renaissance tapestries hanging in the main rooms were spectacular, and the public rooms were spacious and relaxed, as in a beautiful country house. Lovely open drinks bar every evening and free mini-bar in room which was restocked daily. The room was spacious and well furnished with windows that open and an exceptional bathroom suite with full bath and shower and great hot water and linens. I did not use the spa but the facilities were quite impressive for days not so hot, perhaps. Very kind and responsive staff throughout the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Lovely garden area with seating for meals and lounging. Well located for exploring the city center on foot. I didn't go up to the rooftop bar due to the heat, but I look forward to that next time.

There was one day during my stay when the public areas and garden were unavailable to me in the evening due to a party for the Peruvian embassy, and as Villa Spalletti Trivelli is only a block from the presidential palace and other important buildings of government, I suppose this sort of thing can be expected. I was unaware of this before booking, but it really did not impact my stay.

The hotel bedroom and bathroom were lovely, spacious and very well maintained. The property has a lovely garden and roof terrace. All the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed the spa and a fantastic massage with Vanya.

The reception rooms smell fusty like an unused stately home, rather than a 5 star hotel. The dining room is a little tired. While the waiting staff were lovely. Service and the quality of food is not of a 5 star hotel. I would also have liked the ability to make myself a hot drink in my room.
