    Pleasant stay with very helpful and friendly staff. Everyone was welcoming and always ready to assist whenever needed. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you to Mr Ashok and the team for excellent service

    Although the hotel is advertised as a five-star property and looks grand and luxurious from the outside, the rooms fall far below five-star standards and are in urgent need of renovation. The pillows were extremely soft and uncomfortable, while the mattress sank deeply even when we merely sat on it. The room had a stale smell, and the toilet had a very unpleasant odour. No effort appeared to have been made to freshen the room. The air-conditioning was also very poor, and even the corridors were not air-conditioned. There were many staff members in the lobby, but unfortunately, they were not attentive or customer-oriented. It felt as though you needed to be a VIP before anyone would notice or assist you. Overall, I was utterly disappointed. This is promoted as a five-star hotel, but the rooms and facilities are closer to a three-star standard. It is a disgrace to the Marriott name. The hotel should either renovate its rooms and improve its service standards or reconsider its five-star rating. The only saving grace was that they allowed us to extend our stay. However, I would like to compliment the staff at Sonam Bar. They provided generous side dishes with our drinks, were very approachable and took the time to explain their products. Their excellent service was one of the few positive highlights of our stay.
