Villa Valflor chambres d'hôtes et appartements

Very beautiful old fashioned villa hotel near the beach (3 min walk) in Marseille. Beautiful and like stepping into another world! Very friendly owners. Lovely gardens and swimming pool. Having breakfast in the garden every day was really special and lovely. In a quiet neighbourhood, which we really liked, but you can get to the centre by public transport easily. The beaches nearby are very nice and less busy than beaches closer to the centre. There are some nice beach bars and restaurants nearby. Two things important to know: there is car parking, but the entrance is extremely narrow - not for large cars or bad drivers. Also, you will need insect repellent in the garden - but that its true everywhere so not a negative for the hotel.

While breakfast in the garden was very beautiful it was a bit repetitive - bread, jam, pain au chocolat and croissant, yoghurt and cheese, orange juice and tea/coffee, very rustic and nice but after a day or two we wanted fruit or ham or something a little different (and healthier).

Loved the garden & the villa, both what we expected. Very attentive, kind hosts. The breakfast was delicious every morning in a perfect setting out on the terrace

I didn’t mention it at check out but I was bitten every day & I’m pretty sure it was from bed bugs :-(

Stunning house with beautiful garden and pool. Lots of character. Breakfast on the terrace was such a treat! Perfectly located for the beach and lots of nice restaurants nearby and well connected to centre Marseille by bus and boat. Very warm and welcoming hosts.

For some reason the burkini is not allowed at the pool which might be difficult for those who prefer modest swimwear.

The property has a beautiful garden. The host is very professional and property spotless. The area is ideal near local restaurant and amenities. Easy bus ride to Castellan.
