Excellent if you looking for a farm stay

Not for Brugge tourists -- you will sleep in the stinking smell of horse manure

The room was fairly clean.

The rooms are built in between the horse stables with the windows directly opening into them -- I viewed actual horse dung. This means no direct sunlight or fresh air. Even without opening that window, I suffered the smell of manure all night. There is no wifi in the room, only in a common room furnished with aged furniture. I did not get a receipt after my payment. When asking for a kettle (to boil water for tea), I was given one thick with dirt and chalk. When I complained, the landlord appeared next to the landlady in a threatening pose. This place is not good value, and should not be listed among general accommodation places on Booking.com.

A very unique experience, I became interested in the horses day-by-day

Location was very unique (stable view from corridor and rooms), New born foals were something I never saw before. Very helpful staff, 10 p.m. check-in was no issue, cold beer in the fridge... Breakfast was outstanding: many home made food and wide selection, incl. freshly made omlett. Rooms are big and equipped as needed. Location is perfect to daytrips to Brugge / Gent / Anwerp.

Highly recommended for a horse lover!

The room was big with a private bathroom and shared living room. It was clean and comfortable! The area was amazing, nature everywhere you look! Heidi and Filip were extremly friendly and did everything to make their guest happy! Breakfast was organic and amazing! Highly recommend it for a horselover person or family!

We really enjoyed our stay; great breakfast, immersive farm experience, prime location, and privacy.

Our host was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The location was very nice, close to a couple small towns, Brugge, Ghent and the coast. We were able to get good rest, and even woken up by the whinny of a horse about 8:00am, which was lovely!

The wifi didn't reach our room in the very back, but we could go the common lobby space to get what we needed to do done, and download media to watch in our room.

Ungewöhnlicher Aufenthalt

Sehr nette Vermieterin, die sehr interessiert ist an ihren Gästen. Stets bemüht, hat sich gerne mit uns über ganz verschiedene Themen unterhalten. Sehr gastfreundlich und super Service. Die Lage war auch super für uns: Brügge, Knokke, Zeebrügge waren sehr schnell erreichbar. Gute Verkehrsanbindung von Filippus Vakantiehoeve!

Helaas konden de kinderen geen paard rijden, de eigenaar had andere afspraken. Is ook gewoon eigen schuld, we hadden het ook van tevoren kunnen aangeven

Très bien reçu, bien situé, mais un vécu compliqué vis à vis des odeurs et de l'enfermement.

Nous avons aimé la sympathie de l'hôtesse, la propreté du lieu, le petit déjeuner copieux. De pouvoir voir les chevaux.

Les chambres étant entre les box des chevaux, sans fenêtre sur l'extérieur, cela crée une impression d'enfermement et installe une mauvaise odeur dans les couloirs et dans la chambre et salle de bain, pourtant propres. Le wifi pourrait être installé dans le logement.

Trevlig värdinna. God frukost. Rimligt läge om man vill besöka Brügge. Mycket hästar om man gillar det.

Boendet ligger bokstavligt talet inne i ett stall. Det luktar mycket och flugor överallt. Inget fönster som inte vetter in mot stallet. Ganska slitet överlag.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, et localisation idéale.

Petit déjeuner très agréable. Hôtesse très aimable parlant très bien français. Possibilité de prendre des cours d'équitation sur place. Des jouets pour les enfants très appréciés par nos deux plus jeunes. Endroit très original : vue sur les chevaux directement depuis la chambre !

L'odeur d'écurie dans les chambres peut sembler un peu forte et surprenante au début (on l'oublie vite cependant). Il y a un four micro-ondes dans la pièce commune. Une bouilloire serait très utile en complément. De la vaisselle est disponible et nous a permis de prendre le repas du soir dans la salle commune mais il n'est pas très facile ensuite d'aller faire la vaisselle dans les chambres (prévoir torchons et produit vaisselle).
