Only problem for us was there's no coffee in the rooms. Only tea. Otherwise no issues at all.

Recommendation

I liked the location close to the airport and not too far from the city. Staff was super nice and everything was clean. A nice atmosphere with lots of business people staying there or just coming there for breakfast and dinner. Even as a woman travelling alone I did not feel uncomfortable at any time.

The food could be somewhat healthier (lighter sauces, less grease, more vegetarian options, some wholegrain options). It wasn't bad but I've also had better.

EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS!!

This really lovely hotel is SO near the airport we chose to stay one night there before moving on...BUT, this Hotel Aria is MUCH more than an airport hotel 🛏️! It's a hidden gem in a strange wilderness.... It stands alone in beautiful surroundings....but the immediate vicinity belies its existence.... Don't be put off....this hotel is GORGEOUS.... with excellent staff and accommodation....the dining and dining room are exceptionally good! It's REALLY good value for money too! We were kindly upgraded....to a FABULOUS room..... but the standard rooms are all of good quality too! I/ we cannot wait to have the opportunity to stay here...and dine... again.... HIGHLY recommended!

Could not have been better!!

Everything was excellent! I have always been extremely happy with my experiences at the Atria Hotel! I do, however, want to apologize for a mistake I made while there. When I departed very early in the morning after my stay I seemed to forget that the clerk, Ivana, took my passport to copy and gave it back to me. So, on the morning I departed, having forgotten that Ivana did give me my passport back, I told the person that took me to the airport that I had not gotten my passport back. When I checked in it was after a long drive and I was extremely tired and so the next morning when departing I told the person driving me that I did not get it back. This caused the driver to search all over for the passport and tried calling Ivana. I just want to apologize for this error on my part.

Close to airport, friendly staff, good shuttle, rooms need help

Staff members were friendly. Shuttle to the airport was on time and convenient. (It runs every hour.) The distance to the airport is very short, and it is located right next to several rental car company offices. Even though breakfast doesn’t start until 7, they put out a few items (the cold stuff) before then for people who needed to leave earlier. The restaurant has a large menu and seemed very popular with locals for dinner. They take credit cards, unlike most of the places on booking.com near the airport. There were various amenities I didn’t use but that I imagine are helpful for many—minibar, iron, hair dryer, etc. It was not as good a value as most of the places I stayed in the Balkans but it served the purpose of helping me get to the airport for an early flight.

I asked for a quiet room and the receptionist assured me it would be, but I was right above reception and heard very frequent noise from people walking back and forth in high heels, plus I got noise from the water pipes and the neighbor next door. This isn’t a good option for light sleepers. There was a smell of sewage in the bathroom, especially by the sink, and the shower leaked underneath the bottom ledge. The room was quite small and the carpet had innumerable stains. Overall I think the ground floor is nice but the rooms definitely need a refresh.

Nice hotel conveniently located next to the airport

Very close to the airport. Rooms were very clean. Helpful staff - organised a shuttle to the airport in the morning. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of foods.

Good for a short term stay when catching an early flight out.

Proximity to the airport; about 7 minutes. Free Shuttle. The women at the front desk are excellent, friendly and efficient.

Excellent choice for an airport hotel

Good value for money. Over exceeds my expectations to an airport hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged a free trip from the hotel to the terminal, however no free pick up from the terminal.

Overall, my stay was convenient and comfortable, though there were a few areas that could be improve

I liked the convenient airport transfer and appreciated having breakfast and a restaurant on site.

The pool was in okay condition, but safety seemed overlooked—the stairs were wet and slippery in the rain, making it difficult and unsafe to walk down. I didn’t try the breakfast, but the hair dryer in my room didn’t work, and while the TV had apps, the regular channels didn’t work, which was disappointing.

Its right next to the airport, so its perfect location if you have a early flight next day. Must to try food is the "teletina ispod saca" . The pool was open but we cant find the door XD or it was just looked.

Except for the shower issue my stay was excellent!

I had a wonderful dinner. The room was very comfortable. The staff was excellent!! For me it was important to be near the airport since I had a very early flight. Martin was at the front desk very early to take me to the airport, and was super helpful.

The shower mechanism that allows a person to adjust the height of the shower was broken.

Hotel Aria was the PERFECT place to stay before our flight the next morning.

Hotel Aria is a phenomenal place to stay!!The grounds are beautiful, as are the lobby and the rooms - the modern finishes and decor made us feel luxurious and comfortable. The shower also has great water pressure. The beds were extremely spacious and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep before an early morning flight. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport, which is conveniently located just a 5 minute drive away. Since we had an early morning flight, we were even kindly offered breakfast to go. The hotel staff is EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating. We felt welcomed and cared for during our stay. If you’re thinking about where to stay in Podgorica, especially if you’re flying in/out of Podgorica airport, definitely choose Hotel Aria! 6 stars!! We will be back!

Great location, close to the airport

The stuff was helpful, caring, attentive. The location was perfect, just 4 minutes drive from the airport.

I arrived to the airport at 23:30, no shuttle to the hotel and since the hotel is so close to the airport No taxi driver was willing to take me! If not a good heart local person i had no way to get to the hotel! The shower head was broken.

Very pleasant.

The only thing I didn’t like was the smell of cigarette smoke. Might have been from the restaurant patio below or from a previous guest in the room who might have been a heavy smoker. Also, I contacted the site about a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I had an email back from the property saying to call when I arrive and they would get a shuttle to me. When I called the hotel, I was told they only did shuttles to the airport from the hotel. Interesting because of the email I received and the information in the Hotel information booklet says that shuttles are provided. Someone needs to clarify this for future guests. I had to pay €15 for the 2 minute drive.

One waiter was really bad (lunch), no hello, not a friendly word. The other waiter (dinner) was amazing. Room was really old, bathroom with silverfishes, water didn’t drain in the shower and so on.

Adequate for my needs, surpassed my expectations

The hotel and room were very nice, but smelled a bit of sewage, and the view was unfortunately marred by a large parking lot of seemingly abandoned cars. I had to leave early and the offered me a sack lunch instead of breakfast, but the cheese sandwich had no cheese, and the fruit was bruised and inedible. It was very convenient to the airport and the front desk staff was very friendly.

Very disappointing. Over- priced, poor quality and service

The hotel is just a few minutes from Podgorica airport, so it is very convenient.

The hotel is shabby and in need of basic maintenance. In our room, one of the bedside lights was missing, the tap in the handbasin was loose and wobbly, the door to the bathroom stuck half way when opening it etc. We booked a double room but it turned out to be two singles, and they were very narrow single beds. The service in the dining room was terrible. The waiter seemed bored and was in no hurry to serve us. Then he got our orders wrong. The food quality was also mediocre. It's a shame because this could be a great hotel, given its location.

Great hotel, great location, great staff

Great hotel very close to the airport. The black-haired nice girl at the reception is just gold, very friendly and helped with the rooms. I really appreciate it! The rooms are wonderful, the breakfasts are just superb, and the breakfast staff are great. I am always surprised how at 7am you can look so cool ) Oh, and they delivered us to the airport instantly. Thank you.

Excellent value for the money

Easy check in, allowed us to get into room early. Close to airport with a free shuttle. Free parking. Excellent breakfast. Reception staff superb and very helpful. Restaurant on site very good with nice veranda.

Rooms could use some upgrading, first room had some plumbing issues. But reception was so helpful to arrange a new room for us after attempting to fix the problem.

Convenient location - very close to the Podgorica airport.

Stay: April 28 to 29 and May 5 to 6 2024. This is an older hotel but reasonably well kept. Staff is great and they do have a full restaurant which we used for our last dinner in Montenegro. The include breakfast was brought to the table and it was huge!!! Make sure you understand the options and double check with the staff what you want. You may risk having too much to handle... (which can be good if you have a long day ahead). The hotel location is key point as it is great for those arriving late or leaving early to/from the airport. Literally, 2 min drive. For the records, we arrived very late and were picked up by the hotel driver, free of charge. Next morning the driver took me to the airport to pick up a car at the rental company (Sixt). After a week, we arrived late afternoon, dropped our luggage and drove to the airport to return the car, asking for the rental company to drop us of at the hotel. Early next morning, the hotel driver took us to the airport. Not a recipe, but it worked flawlessly.

The hotel has some outside facilities like a big pool, which was not operational. It could be a season thing, but the place lacked some care. It might have flourished at some point. If you don't have a car, there is nowhere to go on foot. Like in many hotels we visit, a night light in the bathroom was missing. Those are good to have in case the guests need for a bio-stop in the early hours of the morning when everything is still dark, and you wake up not really knowing where you are. Those lights would prevent the use of main lights throughout the night.
