⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay at Nostos Apartments, Santorini

I had a wonderful stay at Nostos Apartments - everything about this place exceeded expectations. The location is absolutely perfect, perched on the caldera with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and the famous Santorini sunset. It’s also close enough to the centre of Oia to enjoy the shops and restaurants, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private. The cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding - the rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt fresh every day. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and high-quality options served on a terrace overlooking the most stunning view imaginable - a perfect start to each morning. The customer service was truly exceptional. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive, but a special mention must go to Marina at reception, who was absolutely brilliant. She was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I would highly recommend Nostos Apartments to anyone visiting Santorini - it combines amazing views, comfort, and genuine Greek hospitality in the best possible way.

Amazing views with a private balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was wonderful to have breakfast delivered to our balcony so we could enjoy the views privately while eating.

Didn't like the bathroom. The sink/shower were fine, but the toilet was outdated and in need of replacement with something modern. The toilet seat would not stay up by itself; which poses a challenge when you have a son and daughter. :)

Wonderful seaside villa

We loved everything! Our host Marina made us so comfortable and helped us with restaurant recommendations and booking a catamaran cruise. Our room was perfect and the view from our room and terrace were some of the best on the island! A custom breakfast on the terrace every morning was a real highlight! This hotel was a splurge for us and well worth it! Can’t recommend high enough!

For us not having a door on the toilet was a little awkward.

Amazing. Relaxing.

Nostos organised a transfer from our ferry and then again to our plane. This was great. Breakfast was great, reordered, and could choose hot and cold options. Hotel staff carried our heavy bags up and down the stairs leading to the hotel. Views were sensational, hotel was great location/ clean/ quality. Very beautiful. We had 2 bedroom family apartment 2 x adult 3 x teenagers and had plenty room.

Nothing really, the hotel was picturesque. There are steps down to the hotel that need to be considered.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a perfect choice for our honeymoon.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a truly memorable experience. The view over the Caldera was breathtaking, and the private heated jacuzzi on our terrace was a perfect romantic spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Breakfast was served each morning directly on our balcony according to our wishes, which made the start of the day very special. The location was excellent – close to the main pedestrian street of Oia, yet private enough to avoid the crowds. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

As for minor challenges, there were quite a lot of stairs to climb (though that is part of the charm of Oia and good for health). The transfer service to and from the airport was convenient but a bit overpriced.

Beautiful cave like Villas in the heart of Oia

The view from the property was just like in postcards of Santorini . The breakfast was excellent so much variety and so fresh plus the bonus of having it delivered to your apartment at your chosen time. The pool was amazing with spectacular views. The staff are so kind and friendly they organised dinners transfers anything we needed at affordable costs .

Stunning views at a really cool cave hotel

We stayed here on our 30th anniversary trip as we were hoping for a special experience in Santorini. Wow, we were overjoyed. What a fantastic property. Stunningly beautiful location with a cave room that was very comfortable, cool, and with great bathroom/shower facilities. Nostos felt like a retreat away from crowds and action. We had breakfast to order daily on our terrace and drinks on the terrace or by the pool (very cool cave pool). The view is stunning and so calming. Easy to walk back up to the pedestrian path in Oia and get back into the crowds and to restaurants and shops. But as soon as we started descending the stairs to Nostos all that evaporated into calm and peace. Staff was super helpful at arranging transportation, and it's an easy walk from the dropoff at Luno Oia. What a stellar experience from both a property and a staff standpoint. Stefanos, Marina, and many others really made our stay special.

The entire experience was wonderful. Bag porters met us at the drop off location and took our bags to the room. I went to the front desk and checked in. Throughout my stay, the front desk was very responsive. I communicated through WhatApp. Each staff member I interacted with was kind, courteous, and professional. The breakfast was plentiful, lots of options, and good. I also liked that the location was in quieter part of Oia.

The staff in these suites were exceptional. They could not do enough for us, we only had to ask. The caves were immaculate and the views were absolutely breathtaking!! We have never visited such a beautiful location. Our cave accommodation overlooked this amazing view and it was simply wonderful. Our own private breakfast was served to us daily-what a special treat!! Thank you to the entire team at Nostos. A truly special holiday.

The view from the balcony was excellent. The staff was very helpful. Our room had two balconies, one with the room and one above the room where they used to serve breakfast.

There are around 100 stairs to reach the property and the stairs are uneven. The hotel should renovate the stairs to make it more comfortable

This hotel was stunning. Extremely convenient location—central yet private. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was also delicious.

The only drawback was my room was right over a staff area—they started early in the morning, so if you may wish to consider if you want to sleep with an open window!

The location - the interior - the room amenities - the positive vibes all over - THE VIEW! - love that it’s a “cave” hotel but spacious and airy not claustrophobic - good level of privacy in the room and terrace etc compared to Santorini

- The food was ok & very limited (and basic in terms of taste) for the rate that you pay. Applies to the breakfast and pool menu ( BUT, the cake was great and they have THE BEST Greek yoghurt & granola) - The reception staff is very responsible & try to be helpful but not very well informed - We had a VERY late flight out of Santorini & the hotel didn’t help accommodate us in that regard EVEN while we offered to pay for it / for what we pay they should have at least given us a few extra hours

1) the views are unbelievable 2) the majority of staff were very helpful and friendly in particular the reception girls and the boy that brought breakfast every morning and helped with luggage 3) room and terrace was immaculate and cleaned everyday 4) location was perfect for peacefulness but also a short walk to get to the main areas and attractions. 5) breakfast brought to terrace was such a nice touch

there was nothing I didn’t like it was amazing however a couple of observations; 1) quite a lot of flies around main pool area sun beds and quite a few bugs in the pool 2) hot breakfast options are limited 3) Lady that works in snack bar was not very friendly
