The apartment was very well-equipped, clean, and the bed was comfortable. I’m happy to share some photos of my stay.

It was 2 minutes walk from Reumannplatz and 10 minutes walk to the CEU campus where I was working for a week, which is why I chose this location.

My room (Room 5) smelled of mould and cigarettes. I had to use an air freshening candle just to sleep there. The shower screen wouldn't close properly, and I think this is part of the problem: you have damp and mold in the bathroom underneath the tiles. You can't just tile over it to get rid of structural damp and mould! My check-in instructions were only available through the booking.com app, which I had not installed on my phone. It was also only on that app that I realised that the telephone number would not be answered, nor would the listed email address. These things need to be communicated better to people booking the location. I don't mind that the cleaner took the deposit scheme recycling containers (aluminium cans and PET drink bottles) I was storing to get the deposits back on them for herself, but she could have left back the canvass bag I was storing them in: Actually no, I do mind that! I was clearly storing them to bring them to a shop where I could have got a the price of a meal for that lot!
