The room was just as beautiful as the pictures. The breakfast was delicious and made-to-order in the morning. The staff is wonderful and makes espresso-based beverages whenever you ask for them.
The location is a bit of a walk from most of the action in the area and the street is a little noisy. More natural lighting in the rooms would be a plus (but this could just have been our room).

Being a secret retreat and looking at reviews my expectations were high - unfortunately not met
Staff in fairness were lovely
No parking even though stated
Breakfast one choice for westerners
No lift - carry bags up old staircase
Location not within walking distance of any attractions
I checked out 1 day early and found alternative accommodation.
Plenty of great options in Chiang Mai - unfortunately this overpriced “hotel” is not one of them
