Vincent OldTown Apartments

The location of the apartment block is ideal for exploring the city of Wroclaw. First impressions are key. On entering the foyer it was very dark and somewhat unwelcoming. There were no reception staff or indeed any staff seen, only the cleaner on 1-2 occasions. The bar/reception could have been have been lit up to improve the feel. Staircase was beautiful, although you need to be fit an able to cope with the stairs (87) to the studio apartment on level 5 When allocated apartment 5, I asked for a lower level floor but it was too late to accomodate the request, something I slightly regret in not requesting a lower level apartment at the booking stage. Our studio was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable and we benefitted from the air conditioning provided. The kitchen facilities were basic but functional. The roof terrace was a useful outdoor space but the tiles were very uneven on the terrace. These need attention to improve this space. The bathroom was clean, shower facility good. We did have an issue with the toilet which we reported and had to work around throughout our stay, something which I'm sure the owner's will address. Overall it was a great base to enjoy the city from. Only a few minutes walk into the vibrant city square. I must admit to being seduced into booking by the photos of the incredible rustic beamed apartments and would have preferred to have been more than happy if I had been allocated one of these.

Great location for the city centre

Lovely size and very clean

No Breakfast, it’s a self catering apartment. There is a big supermarket 50 metres away with everything you need.

Everything was perfect

No lift. Up to 4th floor with luggage and bikes is difficult. No electricity on the ground floor
