Room OK , reception awful and breakfast far too expensive

First of All, the location was fine, just before the railway station and near the center of town and the castle park. Parking was OK. There was no reception and we were not aware that the hotel send us mails before arriving. So we had to find out to telephone the reception with the help of a German couple who just arrive as we were there. So with there help we could find our room

the breakfast in the morning was in the cellar. The man who was there told us, there were no bread, but he would go to find ome for us. When he came back after a while he had 2 kaiserbrötchen and 1 extra with some seeds on it. There was coffee but no fruits. As we passed the kitchen we saw some fruit and we asked if we took an apple and banana with us. The seats were old and here and there broken

Very spacious, bathroom, shower are big. Very close to the restaurants and breakfast places. Big parking. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Comfortable checkout hours.

Dirty. Dust is everywhere. Spider nets under sofas. Personnel needs training in communication big time. Attitude is awful. Arguing and lying. Charging for parking 10 euro while on booking it says that it is free. Parking not secured. Anyone can park there - personnel is barely available. After a lot of messages exchanges they agreed not to charge for parking. I had to prove their public offer! Charging for breakfast 18 euro per adult while in a bakery around the corner we paid 28 euro for 2 adults and a kid. Very noisy - station and road are in front of it. Very hot - no air conditioning in this heat and for this amount of money. And you won’t get inside even after paying - if you don’t fill in a form which requests phone number and email per guest(!) (so privacy intrusion into families at least - imagine 9 year old with an email and phone number). They promised to delete those details except my phone number though.

We had a helpful receptionist due to a power cut which was fixed but did not receive door codes before check in due to this so if there had been no staff on duty it could have been worse. Rom wasn’t ready when we arrived but very soon afterwards.

I’d be very happy to stay there again.

Breakfast was fairly standard and more than adequate. A nice freshly prepared fruit salad and an omelette were available. The reception staff and breakfast hostess were very pleasant & helpful.

The bathroom was excellent except that the shower had been broken. There was only a hand held shower head available. I only had one huge European pillow which made my neck hurt the first night, but I was given a regular pillow on request.

Great location for a visit to Schwetzingen, convenient location to Bahnhof...would visit again!

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Steps from the bahnhof making travel by train very easy. Electronic key codes made building a room entry easy.

We stayed on the top floor on one of the hottest days of the year - no air conditioning and lack of fans made it uncomfortable.

Ordentliches Hotel, das sein Check in-Verfahren verbessern könnte.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Das Bad und die Zimmereinrichtung waren in gutem Zustand und tadellos sauber.

Der Check in war chaotisch. Eine mit einer Person besetzte Rezeption gab es nicht, alles läuft über IT. Leider ist die Menüführung sehr schlecht verständlich. Bei den ersten Versuchen wurde das Hochladen eines Ausweises verlangt! Bei späteren Versuchen nicht mehr. Vielleicht hing dies damit zusammen, dass man erst durch Versuch und Irrtum den Einsatz der Hotel-App umgehen konnte. Der Code für das Zimmer wird erst bei der Ankunft ab 15:00 Uhr vergeben. Um 15.40 (!) warteten ca. acht verärgerte Gäste auf ihren Code, wobei sich alle fragten, ob dies nun am Hotel lag oder ob ihnen bei dem Anmeldeverfahreneine ein Fehler unterlaufen war. Einige Gäste verließen erstmal den Warteraum, um erst später wieder zu kommen; ander schimpften, weil nach einer längeren Anfahrt ein Zugang zu einer Toilette hilfreich gewesen wäre. Letztendlich half uns dann eine Telefonanruf, der freundlich und hilfsreich beantwortet wurde. Später trafen wir vor dem Hoteleingang auf weitere ratlose Gäste, die gar nicht verstanden hatten, dass es keine besetzte Rezeption gab und wie das Anmeldeverfahren funktionierte. Der Hinweis, dass der Check in nur über IT läuft, war in der Hotelinformation nicht eindutig formuliert. Die Begriffe "Villa" und "stilvoll" zusammen vermitteln einen Eindruck, der nicht der Realität entspricht. Die Zimmer sind schlicht und funktionell eingerichtet, statt eines Schrank gibt es Regale. Der Frühstücksraum soll mit schweren Holztischen etwas "Stil" aufweisen, befindet sich aber in einem leicht muffigen Kellergeschoss.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung jedoch könnte das Ambiente im Frühstücksraum bei so einem tollen gewölbten Raum freundlicher gestaltet sein.

Das Zimmer zur Bahnhofstraße war extrem laut.

Ich habe keinen Menschen im Hotel gesehen. Habe überhaupt erst 5 Minuten vor Ankunft in Schwetzingen meinen Code für die Öffnung der Haustür und die Tür zu meinem Zimmer (das nicht beheizt war) bekommen. Mit viel Glück habe ich dann die Türen öffnen können. Abends, als ich von der OLper zurück kam, musste ich einem verzweifelten älteren Mann helfen, in das Hotel zu kommen. Wer kein Handy hat oder wer nicht gut mit seinem Handy umgehen kann, sollte dieses Hotel nicht buchen.

Nach dem ermöglichten Zimmerwechsel und durch das nette Personal: Empfehlung. Preis/Leistung O. K.

Zunächst wurde uns ein extrem kleines Doppelzimmer zum Hinterhof/gegenüber dem Nachbarhaus im 1. OG zugeteilt. Nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption konnten wir in ein grösseres Doppelzimmer mit Lage zur Strasse im 2. OG umziehen. Derr Herr an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Hätten wir in dem kleinen, dunklen Doppelzimmer bleiben müssen wären wir sehr unzufrieden gewesen. Der Zustand der Möbel und der Badezimmereinrichtung (inkl. Fliesen) war nicht gut.

Immer wieder eine gute Adresse

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal fürs Glücksgefühle Festival hier und die Anbindung mit dem Bahnhof gegenüber ist natürlich super. Außerdem hat der Besitzer für den zweiten Tag ein Shuttle vom Hotel zum Festival und nachts wieder zurück organisiert - danke nochmal dafür. Frühstück war gut und das Auto kann man bequem auf dem Hotelhof parken. Wir waren wieder einmal zufrieden :)

Wir hatten jeweils die Zimmer neben dem Nottreppenhaus, in welchem die Putzkräfte morgens auf und ab gelaufen sind. Mich hat es nicht gestört, aber ein Freund konnte wegen der Geräuschkulisse dann leider ab 7.30Uhr nicht mehr schlafen.

Schlichte aber moderne Unterkunft mit leckerem Frühstück unweit des schönen Schwetzinger Schlosses.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß, sauber, bequem und schlicht aber modern eingerichtet, zudem war es trotz der Nähe zum Bahnhof sehr ruhig. Große und schmackhafte Auswahl beim Frühstücksbüffet. Schöne Lage, das Hotel liegt nur wenige Minuten zu Fuss vom Schloss Schwetzingen entfernt. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Da es an unserem Abreisetag nur wenig neue Anreisen gab durften wir unser Auto freundlicherweise auch nach dem Check-out noch ein paar Stunden auf dem Hotelparkplatz stehen lassen um die Gegend zu erkunden.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln, alles war bestens.

Schöne Unterkunft mit ausgezeichnetem Gästeservice

Wir hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Villa-Bassermann, was nicht zuletzt an den freundlichen und super hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern lag. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet einladend und es wurde sogar kurzerhand noch ein Shuttle zum Festivalgelände auf die Beine gestellt - danke dafür!

Freude war nur kurz

Die Lage des Hotels war ansich sehr gut, Nähe Bahnhof und man war schnell in der Stadt. Verschiedene Cafés, Bäckereien, Schloß und Geschäfte waren in der Nähe. Das Hotel und das Zimmer waren sehr sauber - außer die Dusche (Duschkopf).

- Der Check-In hätte gut geklappt, wenn wir den Code als auch die Zimmer Nr. rechtzeitig bekommen hätten. Es hieß ab Nachmittag könnte man ins Zimmer, allerdings wurde auf der Hotel eigens erstellten App für Check-In eine gute Stunde lang angezeigt, dass das Zimmer noch nicht fertig sei, am Telefon hieß es etwas unfreundlich "Sie haben doch alles per Email erhalten?! Haben Sie überhaupt eingecheckt?" Dies hatten wir aber bereits am Tag davor schon getan. Nach einem 2. Anruf erhielten wir dann den Zugangscode. Es hieß, es gab einen Systemfehler. Uns wurde ein Frühstück als Entschädigung versprochen - laut Telefonat wüsste das Personal dann Bescheid - jedoch am nächsten Morgen als wir nachfragten, wurde kein Frühstück vorbereitet und der Mann (Personal) wüsste von nichts - aß aber selbst dort gemütlich sein Essen. - Das Zimmer war im 2. Stock, allgemein war es sehr hellhörig, man bekam so ziemlich alles mit was so im Haus war. - An der Duschvorichtung fehlte ein Teil, warum auch immer, der Duschkopf wurde nicht gesäubert, siehe Bilder.

Sie Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs.

Wir sind bei großer Hitze angekommen (33 Grad). In dem Zimme im Dachgeschoss war es zum ersticken. Keine Möglichkeit, die Temperatur zu sinken. Wir haben das Fenster offen gelassen und leider haben besoffene Kerle am Bahnhof sehr spät gesungen/gebrüllt, bis Ihr Zug angekommen ist!

Gerne wieder.

Anreise mit Zug ist gut möglich, das Hotel liegt gegenüber des Bahnhofs. Pkw Anreise auch problemlos - Parkplatz ist beim Hotel. Zentrum/Schloss ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Freundliches Personal. Sehr sauberes Zimmer. Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Automat mit Getränken und Snacks steht auf dem Flur zur Verfügung.

Situation centrale, toute proche du château de Schwetzingen et de ses magnifiques jardins. Échange par mails et Whatsapp avec l'équipe de l'hôtel pour organiser au mieux l'arrivée. Salle de bain pratique, chambre agréable.

Ce n'était pas une surprise puisque l'hôtel se trouve directement en face de la gare, mais c'est relativement bruyant. Ayant le sommeil lourd, cela ne m'a pas dérangée. Des bouchons d'oreille sont fournis.
