Riad Djebel

The Riad was beautifully decorated. An oasis of calm. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough to help.

Mustafa (& also Badr) were very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!! Breakfast was nice and more than enough.

We couldn’t have had a better stay at Riad Djebel. What made it special was the hospitality provided by Abdul, Mustapha and the lovely ladies who cooked us food and made us breakfast (I am sorry I did not take their names!). They were personable, attentive and made our stay memorable. When we arrived, they explained in great detail how to get around the area and provided recommendations for activities, sites and restaurants. They also offered to show us around on the first day which was really kind. They always checked in on us and made us feel at home and there was a good balance of checking in and giving us privacy (they were not overbearing at all). I would recommend having a traditional Moroccan dinner at the riad as it was the nicest meal we had on our trip! The experience also felt very authentic. We would come back in a heartbeat and would like to say thank you for such a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, comfortable with good working aircon. Bed was comfortable and the shower was good. They provide Moroccan soap which was a nice touch.

This Riad is in a very local area of the Medina. There are no cafes, restaurants or shops close by. The property is much more expensive than other Riads in the heart of the Medina.
