Our suite was exceptional - very comfortable, large and nicely decorated. Our check-in agent, Ernesto, was amazingly friendly and helpful in getting us acquainted with the area. The location of the hotel is perfect for getting around and exploring the area, and they were able to get us last minute tickets to tour Sagrado Familia.

The rooftop terrace was underwhelming - the pool very small, and usually full everytime we checked it. Same with the gym. So we did not get to use these amenities.

Some staff at the reception were smiling as they greet us but others were just serious and looked like we were disturbing them.

The lighting of the room was terrible as there was no lights on the wall just basic lamps on the side that you couldn’t see anything in your room at night which made it impossible. Cloudy days were also a nightmare . We had a family room as well and one of the kids rooms had a makeshift window was faced the shaft wall hence no sunlight into the room day ir night. It was terrible. Breakfast was very basic and not representative of the expensive price for the hotel. We celebrated a bday and I asked the staff just for a candle at breakfast and was told the entire hotel had run out ! They only give you one bottle of water at check in and don’t refill that water again in your room so be aware.
