H10 Lanzarote Princess

Great location, marina and centre both within close walking distance, around 15 mins. Large pool area, never an issue getting sun loungers. Variety of bars with wide range of drinks, including branded. Most of staff helpful/pleasant. Good sized rooms. We had room 2040, overlooking pool with mountain view behind. Hard-working entertainment team with good range of activities, mainly focused around children, but also archery, drumming, bingo. Self serve water dispensers in pool bars. Most areas of hotel were clean.

Food was average AI, choice not great on some evenings, plus on 2 occassions poultry was clearly undercooked, which I reported, so was surprised it happened a 2nd time. Untidy around snack bar, due to food wrappers blowing off tables. Guests need to take some responsibility here but staff seemed to ignore the mess. Also, many restaurant tables not cleared during mealtimes. Some serving staff were unapproachable, with unpleasant demeanours/attitudes, who didn't seem to realise they were in the hospitality industry. Not enough staff at bars and restaurants.

We had a fantastic holiday at the H10 Lanzarote Princess. The food was excellent, plenty of choice even for fussy eaters, lovely kids pool, plenty of loungers, rooms were kept spotlessly clean, excellent location, five minutes walk to the beach and bars/shops etc.

There needs to be more/better supervision by lifeguards at the pools. I only saw one lifeguard actually walk around the pool, the others sat quite a distance away. Of course, the responsibility is with parents to supervise their children at all times, but I still think lifeguards should play a more active role, particularly in areas where there are lots of children/ blind spots.

No reason to have any complaints, sometimes a little attention to paint work in rooms details on skirting tiles over paint, water in rooms for coffee don't like to use bathroom water, water is important for dinner.🙏

The location is good. The pool is ok, and it’s nice that there’s a heated pool. The staff is very friendly.

The food is terrible. The buffet options are very few, and more often than not, very poorly cooked. There was a day that sushi was served - wort sushi we have had, anywhere - worst than supermarket sushi! One night at dinner I fixed myself a cheese sandwich because there was nothing proper. You can also see that things are lacking maintenance and decent care. Lots of places where things were painted over to hide the age of it, but all painted on a rush. Our bathtub was old a starting to show signs of rust. The doos to the balconies function poorly… bottom line, the place needs a decent renovation.
