About this house rental
The Presidents Walk and Southard Court community is located in the Truman Annex Complex which is located 2 blocks from Duval Street and all of the Old Town Key West attractions. The properties are also located less than a half mile from one of the best beaches on the island. The Presidents Walk properties are two level townhouses which have private courtyards on the first level and balconies on the second level. All properties are outfitted with washer/dryer, pots and pans, towels and linens, have central air conditioning, off street parking and pool access.

We arrived after business hours and had some difficulty getting the keys - seems like the booking agent didn't communicate to balance of office, so there was confusion on Compass's behalf. The property was clean but has signs of lack of maintenance. The second bedroom TV was non-functional and we called Compass for maintenance; they sent a Tech out, but never resolved the problem during our 2 week stay. Master shower light is burned out and toilet runs (unless you giggle the handle every time) and the dishwasher only wants to "rinse" and not clean per the selections available. Property is convenient to the small pool, but parking is a little far away and tight. I communicated the property deficiencies with Compass's office and was met with indifference. Property was good, Property Manager was poor.

Nice place, needs some TLC. Replacing toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap was a little ridiculous. I have never stayed anyplace that does that.
