The breakfast had a great selection and the staff were very pleasant.
The hotel was right beside a park which provided a lovely walk into the old town.

Quiet and good size room.. friendly staff
No tea making facilities in the rooms; have to get dressed and go downstairs just to have a cup of tea!
Handbasin is very impractical, so impossible to shave.

The hotel is located less than 2 km from the city center, in a quiet green area with direct access to the Wöhrder See promenade. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is very good and varied, and the room is spacious and clean, featuring air conditioning that is especially useful during the summer.
Aside from the limited privacy of the shower cabin, I think it would be appropriate for a 4‑star hotel to provide essentials such as slippers, body lotion, and hair conditioner.
