Albert apartments Zagreb airport

Location very close to airport. Normally there is a good connection by bus to center and airport, although there was a bus drivers' strike when we were there, of which we were informed by the host. Very friendly welcome with explanation of all practical details for visiting Zagreb. Clean. Private car parking, although tight. The host helped us to carry a heavy suitcase up the rather steep stairs. Supermarket at 100 m.

So close to the airport that walking to and from the supermarket there was very loud noise of airplanes flying over. Personally I didn't hear any planes while sleeping, my wife did, but fellow-travellers didn't complaint. Bedrooms are small, with very little place for baggage. You have to pass one bedroom for reaching the other bedroom, a little uncomfortable if travelling with two couples. Kitchen not very complete. Little light over the table. Shower is rather narrow. The apartment needs maintenance: e.g. several doors didn't close well. OK for a simple stay of one night next to the airport, but we wouldn't stay longer.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly staff and surprisingly large.

Albert was a lovely host. We arrived late but he was very welcoming and very informative .

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The bedroom was lovely, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the bathroom was especially clean and fresh. I also really liked the large windows in the living and dining area, which could be opened to let in some cool, fresh air. The neighbourhood was very quiet, but the bus stop was only a two-minute walk away, with an easy connection to Zagreb Central Station.
